I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the WWE was creating another tag championship at the time, these tag teams are some of the most random I've ever seen. It wouldn't surprise me if they were using the "random" character selection in the smackdown video game when booking this tournament.

I think when it came to pure wrestling matches, and people who put on a clinic basically Thursday nights was the show to watch. I remember guys like Angle, Show, Taker, Lesnar, Guerrero, Benoit, Edge, Cena, and Rey just out there being fantastic. What I mostly remember about Raw in 2002 was Triple H like dominating like never before.

At the time, I was only like 12, so to me all wrestling was good wrestling. I cheered the good guys, and booed the bad guys. I didn't know much, but looking back...to me Smackdown was probably the better show once the brand extension got underway.
