Nice spin! What makes a beautiful dancer though is not how many turns one makes but the beauty in which they can execute those turns.

you are really gorgeous! but if you pause right at the beginning of 0:07 you can tell that you turn your foot in before you pirouette

you should probably work on keeping that foot turned in (my teacher always pounds us on that)

but other than that you are beautiful!

I disagree. Her arches are marvelous, but I hate to see them that way overstretched, that she is over the box... It ruins the lining.

She's rolling too much on her pointes, that's how she gets her "amazing arches". She could seriously hurt herself doing that. And when she's off pointe she still rolls with her feet.

But she is absoultely amazing to watch, especially her priouette!

it was a contemporary for yagp and contemporary means not completely classical. which, is why the choreography is like that.. the arms aren't perfect positions, ect.

Graham, Cunningham, Horton and the rest were considered modern dancers. Contemporary dance is a fusion of classical technique and modern dance.

Sorry whenever I talk about going to a contemporary class I mean Graham and the above mentioned techniques, no one I know would say Modern dance but anyway, I still stick to my opinion that here pirouettes are very classical...where is then the contemporary dance in that short clip...?

the contemporary aspect can be found mainly in the distortion or omission of the classical port de bras: in the opening pose with the arm across the midsection and the absence of a port de bras during her temps lie preparation, respectively.
