The only south indian architecture which has been accepted as a world recognized & admirable construction is the Thanjavur temple (UNESCO), which was built by Raja Raja Cholan!!!

Raja Raja was the only Hindu king who was capable of maintaining a hindu empire outside India for a considerable amount of time!! Moreover, Chola empire had a branch of a dynasty, Chodas, not cholas, who started ruling the vijayanagara empire for decades even more efficiently than the very cholas.. Hampi is a legendary construction but not even close to Tanjavur big temple!!!
