You should have had that both films claimed to be succeeded by For Your Eyes Only, because FYEO was supposed to be made after The Spy Who Loved Me, but the producers wanted to cash in on the whole "space" thing after Star Wars was a huge success, so they moved FYEO back and replaced it with Moonraker.
Yeah, they dropped the ball - the real 007 would have known that Clorrine was in danger, would have doubled back, quelled the dogs, and whisked his female
Some things are right and funny, but there are some simularities that aren't right. The same direction isn't right. John Glen directed 5 movies so. And submarines and shuttle isn't right either. However it is still funny:)
This was my favorite James Bond movie in the series. I love the opening set piece when the space shuttle is hijacked in mid-air right off the back of the 747 jumbo jet killing everybody in the process. My second favorite scene is when Bond rides the gondala boat out of the water hovercraft style, you see a pidgeon watching him do a double-take! Best of all, you get a kickass space battle between space marines and Drax's master race shooting lasers at each other...."pew, pew, pew, pew!"

They are the same movie with the near identical characters....one is by sea, the other by space.
