  • where did you get the gun?

  • Link to the module and driver?

  • Friend to me that it was lightning that toy because for aviation lightning trasformadocito a space that just cals? ?

  • thats like a lower version of the kipkay's blu-ray laser phaser :D, good job :9

  • @cocacolafan98 Actually, this one has ten times as much power as kipkays laser phaser does...

  • @v9778 really? o.o I want one! :D

  • LOL! no heatsinkink?! that will burn its shit up!

  • I actually like this song... :]

  • I love electronics but why do all these videos have stripper music? I'm going to listen to buffalo springfield while I watch your video on mute.

  • @2Bforsaken because they are stripping the electronics of course

  • FOR those arguing... and i say this calmly.. grow up. these vids ar einteresting, they dont tak elong to view and some people make better vids than others. end of. get a life if u need to moan or hey here is an idea, make ur own vids !

  • aixiz with no heatsink with 1000mW 445nm doesnt it get way too hot

  • Try and Pack A' Punch it!

  • is soddering hard?

  • @imkindaDasH

    yes

  • @LittlemanDR :C

  • @imkindaDasH yep.

  • you know that 1000mw is far past the leagal limit

  • @R8chelFair

    are you mad?

  • nice

  • woher hast du das ganze geld um sowas zu kaufen :D mir ist das alles viel zu teuer

  • Nee da bau ich die Dinger lieber komplett selbst ;-)

  • No heatsink for a 1W laser?!

  • @andretodopoderoso7 The silver tube the diode is encapsulated in will serve as an adequate heatsink.

  • @Nabelnoir

Silver tube? You mean the axiz module xD

No it wont my friend.. without a proper "heatsink" the duty cycle should be no more than 20s on.

  • @andretodopoderoso7 Not trying to be argumentative but why won't the silver tube be an adequate heatsink? Am I assuming its metal when it is plastic. I thought I read it was metal.

  • @Nabelnoir

This is a class IV 1W 445nm laser! it needs a decent heatsink, otherwise it will heat up to much in no time an effect the diodes life. Even a class IIIb laser, like a 200mw red laser needs at least a small heatsink to "pull the heat" from the diode.

  • @andretodopoderoso7 Well I understand that it is a class IV laser, but what makes the metal tube an improper heatsink? That is all I want to know?

  • @Nabelnoir

I already told you.. btw have you ever build any laser yourself? Probably not..

The module is in fact made of alluminum and it dissipates some heat from the diode but it´s not enough! If you dont use a proper heatsink around the module it will heat up very fast and effect the diode´s life, cant you understand this?

And do you know whats duty cyle?

  • @andretodopoderoso7 Um no need to get shitty about it. I asked you for a reason the on why the aluminum tube wouldn't be adequate and all you did was kept repeating "you need a heat sink". No shit sherlock. Personally I have built both solid state diode laser and tube lasers so I know about heat sinks. What I didn't know what exactly "WHY" the aluminum tube, which has a lot of surface area is not adequate.

  • @Nabelnoir unblock me. I want to send you pm.

  • @andretodopoderoso7 (con't) Maybe I have never used that type of module before so I don't know if it would be adequate? Ever think of that? Obviously not because your throwing terms around like "Duty Cycle" and thinking you are hot shit like most keyboard commandos that come on YT. If your not prepared to explain your answers to peoples comments better then perhaps you should refrain from commenting and stick to building lasers. You obviously have no social skills for explaining them.

  • true u usually have pretty sweet songs

  • No techno music.?

  • NICE
