  • Amazing this team doesn't get more recognition. We peaked before the World Cup really, which I think made people forget how good we were at our best.

The reality is that for a long time we were absolutely untouchable. The team had everything.

  • I'm so glad i was around to appreciate this awesome time for english rugby

  • acceleration from robinson in 2nd minute is RE-DICK-YOU-LOUSE

  • Belle équipe.

  • Back in the day when we had good players all over and decent commentators too...I'm glad I started watching and playing rugby back in 2001, I grew up just as English rugby hit a peak and it couldn't have been better timed, I was proud of that England and I'm getting a good feeling about this new England...here's to English Rugby 2012 :')

  • We're gonna go round in circles here; apolgies if I made a typo and wrote 2001 instead of 2011 whilst writing a previous comment. I'm well aware there was no RWC in 2001, thanks for your vigilance!

  • @rwalter23 !!!

  • This video is just awesome.

Never get tired of watching it. So proud of what this team did.

  • 1:34 - not even a bugatti veyron can accelerate that fast!

  • One favourite memory which isn't on this vid - the game in New Zealand before the 2003 World Cup, where England somehow defend their line against huge pressure from the ABs (not always legally...) and then slowly but surely drive their way miles up the pitch. I think they were one or even two men down at the time. Awesome. If anyone can point me towards that footage I'd be a happy man...

  • @MrNimBrooks "England beat New Zealand - June 2011"

  • @MrNimBrooks Er, best make that 2003 !!!!

  • the music combined with the video brings tears to my eyes

  • 1:35

    Acceleration!!

    Holy shit!!!

  • alright alright all you giles and jeeves english men hands of snakie, it was a long time ago get over it. They were good yes i admit it but i also think at this time all the other top teams were in a form slump, arrrrrrgh fuck it i will let you have this one, its never guna happen again so why not. best of luck in the shit nations this year i will be sure to watch if i am suffering from insomnia.

  • @101metalmilisha thanks for letting us all know how little you know about england.

  • @101metalmilisha Its wales who will bring the brilliance next, England were fucking outstanding during this period and I dont blame people for looking back all the time, hell I would if my team beat South Africa 53 odd points to nothing.

  • there seems to be a quite a few angry Australians commenting on this video (i wonder why that might be!).

aside from that there are also quite a few Kiwi's on here who are respectful of this awesome team; to them i say thank you! And good luck!

  • What a team this was! Won everything and beat everybody. This team knew how to win. Sad that it broke up after the 2003 final, but as the England players said after the final, ''what the f*ck to we do now?'' Love watching videos of this legendary team!

  • @jjj15s England are a disgrace now and have been for a good few years, they've never had anything up and running since this team.

  • great vid

  • Not hating, Love the video, I think it shows how English RFU should be! But this is and English based video, how come it has the theme tune from "Brave heart" which is a Scottish base film? :L Much Love <3

    @guettebaRV

  • @MrKevLad1

The music was created by James Horner (an American of Austrian ancestry), and was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. There's nothing Scottish about it!

  • my favourite tries of the video (starting from):

    1:34

    3:29

    3:56

    4:20

    5:13

    5:22

    5:31

    5:47

Makes you proud to be english. Especially 6:00 THAT drop goal.

  • 2.00 genius

  • what ever anyone says, this team would have been up there with the greatest of all time. Flash in the pan maybe but so were the lions of 74, 97. does not mean they were not great...

Its sad people cant give this team the credit they rightly deserve.

  • this almost makes me cry, just how unbelievable it must have been to be them at those moments and feel that glory.

  • fuck off dislikers

  • "Remember that you are an Englishman, and have consequently won first prize

in the lottery of life."................................."There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is England".

  • england lacks that penetraton so much now...very slow, unexciting play

  • goosebumps. Wilko, you'll be sorely missed.

  • great ending

  • whats the name of the song? please tell me.

  • @rifway22 Ironically its from the Braveheart soundtrack. James Horner - Freedom, Execution, Bannockburn

  • I'm sorry but moody in the back row you forgot Richard Hill who is the best flanker England have had for ages and kept moody out the team for years and is so much better than moody ever was!

  • Awesome video!!! The England team everyone loved to hate only because they were the best of their time. respect from NZ.

  • These heroes made us proud to be English on so many occasions!

  • what happened in 2004? back to there shite selfs! joke! 2005 all blacks would and did demolish these guys!

  • @meshuggahnutt101 actually in 05 we beat australia 26-16, and lost to the All Blacks 19-23. That's hardly a demolition.

  • @meshuggahnutt101 I think you are very rude and are demonstrating terrible behavior. You clearly have taken offence to this video, and that makes me very happy :) I noticed a comment referring to England being nothing...well sir, it was an Englishman who created the wonderful sport of rugby.

  • Guetteba; I haven't come across anyone better at capturing and evoking the passion and emotion that rugby stirs within. Your rugby flicks are simply magic.

As a proud Englishman, I think this is your best to date.

I'd back the English national team from the beginning of the 2000's against anyone past/present.

    They were a special team.

Could I suggest a career retrospective of the great Mr J Wilkinson as a future project?

Many thanks again for all your awesome work.

  • Whenever you have a bad day, just watch this through and you will end up with a grin on your face and a tear in your eye. What a golden age of rugby for us Englishmen and full respect to the uploader for such a brilliant video.

  • This is one of the best vids ever! Seriously good stuff. I really feel I have missed out man as i was 11 during the 2003 RWC. And only just started playing and getting interested in Rugby Union at that point, i was a rugby league man before then and still am. But there will never be another squad like that man i missed out!

  • All the players in the team seemed to be at the prime time of the career!

  • It's not that England are not as good, they just need the inspiration to work as hard and play as hard as the golden era.

  • @TwangerX it is a shame as on paper that team are world beaters and could beat anyone on the planet with exception of the world champs. But thats something to work towards. I mean Flood is no wilko but he is more creative and is improving alot in the tackle. Plus there are many young stars and some that haven't been picked up the most glaringly obvious is Matthew Tait

  • I needed that!

  • If you are English, this video must make you very proud. I'm from New Zealand, an I cannot but be impressed by that era. I noticed there passing and general play - unselfish an for the jersey an not themselves. Seemed to play with confidence, skill an unity that is obviously a trait of great teams. Cannot wait for France too deliver their great team. No doubt just a matter of when.

  • @phtan0 I think Frances great team is already hear because they are after getting a new manager.. The players wouldnt playwell manager cus they didnt respect him and he was crazy..there whole team is made up of world class players and i have a bad feeling there team are just going to click this year and maybe be unstoppable with their flair and passion for there country.as an irish man i think they are going to win the 6 nations easily this year and when they play the southern teams, they'll win!

  • @irishmurph123 Be great to see France hit your prediction. Phillipe Saint Andre could be the person who takes them to glory. If France can beat all the Tri-Nation teams at home before the next world cup, then you could say their chances are very good to take out the 2015 World Cup. But two key things have to happen, the above an France have to be able to hold this form through too 2015..........pretty big ask!

  • @phtan0 as an irish man, france are the one team we hate to play because we can never beat them, only on an odd occasion.people give out about frances inconsistancy but if you look at their record they nearly win the 6 nations every year, and anyway ireland are in my opinion the most inconsistant team in world rugby.thet can be brilliant one day and useless another day..they are so annoying to support..in the world cup , brilliant against oz and then useless against wales..where are you from ??

  • @irishmurph123 From NZ. I love rugby (as most NZer's do). France an England have the resources to compete with the Tri Nation teams. Wales, Ireland an Scotland do well with the numbers they have too call on. However, it is hard to see them competing with the Tri Nation teams as the do not have depth an/or exposed to this intensity consistently. Ozzie do not have the player numbers, but are fortunate enough to play the AB's an the Bok's too make up for this. This is just my opinion.

  • @phtan0 i think wales will be joint with new zealand as the best team in the world at the end of the year.. wales have made huge improvements especially in their back play and are playing the style of rugby new zealand play..they also have arguably the best or second best no.7 in the world and have match winners all over the pitch(Roberts,Davies,Philips,North just to name a few)..i think they are going to be favourites for 2015 WC..they are so young and talented..Check out george norths videos

  • @irishmurph123 Well we've seen the welsh talent that came through during the world cup but they looked like losing against Ireland until last minute and England held them to a man until the 76th minute even having only played together twice and for four weeks...now look at the young Nz talent coming through: Freuan, Ranger, Dagg, Matthewson, cruden ect...if I were any team in the world I'd be worried by nz right now...however they lack depth in key positions (7, 10, 1,3, 4 and 5)

  • @vegatablesouptom ye but im saying wales will be near NZ by the end of the year .. there wont be alot between the teams when they play.. how do you think irelands 3 tests will go against NZ in the summer?

  • @phtan0 It has been so long that Im more ashamed by what came after it to be honest. It was, and probably still is (we will see) a game run by a large group of pathetically disorganised, massively over salaried, cliquey old farts who cannot organise a disaster, which is precisely what they have had on their hands for the last 9 years. Given half a chance your average Englishman is a visionless muddlehead who likes nothing better than cutting those around him off at the knees. Brutal but true.

  • @chanctonbury63 Guess what, the Tri-Nation teams still respect England. Why? Because we love to beat them, we love to give them no credit an we love to bag the style they play. Sort of a hate/love admiration. The English do not back their running game, an the French do not back themselves - which sad to say is why the Tri-Nation teams will continue to dominate World Cup history.

  • @phtan0 England have not backed anything for the last 9 years. Their game and selection has been defined by hopelessly deficient staff who could not coach their way out of a paper bag. Johnson, Wells and Ford, to name 3 recent examples. The wisdom went out of the setup after the Final in `03 and never came back. Why do you `respect` a crappy side? `Love to beat them fine. If NZ were crap Id enjoy beating them, but I wouldnt respect them. So whats this respect thing you have going?

  • @chanctonbury63 I'm a rugby purist I surpose, an love too see two teams both playing a high level hard fought game.Would love to see England an France perform at a Tri Nation's level all the time, how good would that be too watch. Get a bit bored with just Ozzie an the Bok's. My respect of England only comes from them winning the World Cup in 2003.It proves too me England have they players, just lack the execution to get the best out of them. Come on ENGLAND, get back up - world rugby needs you.

  • @phtan0 What England needs, now that the RFU has been cleaned out like an old drain, is an RFU peopled by management that know how to choose a coach with talent, vision and experience, and just let that coach get on with the bloody job. So many good players during Robinsons` time were simply ignored. The whole thing just ossified. Then Johnson came along and only started picking youngsters when he began to run out of pensioners. You couldnt make it up.

  • @phtan0 by the way what do the southern hemisphere think of irish rugby??

  • @irishmurph123 Good at the level below International, but struggle to put two high international performances together. Ireland need to send players an teams down to play in our competitions regularly. Will expose them to the southern hemisphere intensity. Once they get use to it, they will find it a lot easier to string together great international performances. Cannot see this happening due to money an politics. Argentina have now joined the Tri Nations. No doubt, they will improve immensely.

  • @chanctonbury63 Jeeeeeezzzz, you're a drain! Cheer up my man, and reflect on some of the best rugby ever played! True, the old farts made some crappy decisions after 2003 but there have been plenty of high points; destroying the boks in 2004 autumn internationals, wins against Oz both home and away and getting to the 2007 RWC final. Are you a Brit whose gone antipodean? And though the Welsh game today was disappointing, there are plenty of positives for a young England side to move onward.

  • @rwalter23 Where do you come from. Im a competitive beast and Im thoroughly sick of reflecting. Thats all many Englishmen seem to do. I watch old stuff from time to time, but life is not about yesterday. Its about today and if you have an ounce of drive and vision its also about tomorrow. All rugby people talk about here is `03. All soccer people talk about is `66. They hired Robinson because of the past success of Woodward, and Johnson because of `03. The past. What about tomorrow? Any takers?

  • @chanctonbury63 AB's an the Bok's love reflecting on their history. It is so important to our current players, none of them want to let down past teams/players. It is just one of many emotional drivers that exist in these teams. John Eales mentioned how they started creating their rugby history against NZ an the Bok's in 1984-1992. Look where they are now. I think Northern hemisphere teams have to ask themselves after every game, was my performance good enough too beat a Tri Nation's team?

  • @phtan0 Id enjoy reflecting more on our history if I felt we had a today and a tomorrow! Thats the deal. A round trip to Twickenham takes me 3 hrs. I havent been there for 3 years. Im not alone. A 40% win/loss record over 9 years is nothing short of a humiliation. Whether the new incumbents in the RFU can turn this mess around now remains to be seen, Im not holding my breath, but many of the decisions made by the previous mob were nothing short of infantile. We just want to be competitive.

  • @chanctonbury63 Maybe a step back too the past for England to go forward. Clive Woodward was a great coach, but I think people did not give him due credit because he had a bunch of very talented players. Class is class, an Clive is a very classy coach. Bring him back, then get him too mentor his replacement(s). I hope for your sake, the English administration are not blind to progress.....you past messages suggest strongly they are...:-(

  • @phtan0 Weve spent far too much time looking back over the last 9 years. In many respects it has been the root of the problem. RFU dinosaurs in a pro game. Woodward has said he doesnt want to work for the RFU. I dont blame him. Lots of other people dont want to either. Anyway if any coach needs mentoring that alone proves conclusively he is not up to the job

  • @phtan0 how do you think irelands 3 tests will go against NZ in the summer?? do you think we have any chance at all??

  • @irishmurph123 Fair enough, and that really depends on three things, the first is who's playing at 13 for Ireland, the second is who's playing for Nz and the third is if Ireland get it right...like in 2009, I can't personally see any team beating Nz at the minute except France or a revitalised SA so my prediction would be 3-0 to Nz but I'd like to see (realistically) 2-1 to Nz

  • @vegatablesouptom id have to agree with you. where are you from anyway

  • @irishmurph123 England, land of the most despised rugby team in the world :') that aside I'm part Irish (1/4) and have some Maori blood in the family a few generations back...I also kinda support France because of their occasional moments of brilliance...

  • @irishmurph123 Too win one test, they would need all their stars an need to play well. Ireland should focus on the series instead of trying to win just one test. Ireland could win one, then get smashed in the last two.....which pretty much defeats the purpose of improving. If they play strongly for all three tests and win a test or two, all the teams in the world would certainly begin to be wary of them. As the AB's an Bok's will tell you, best to be feared then be in fear.

  • @chanctonbury63 I couldn’t agree more about looking to “tomorrow.” British culture is changing; “being the plucky underdog” is the attitude of yesterday, just look at our ever increasing Olympic medal haul over the years; silver a’int good enough anymore. I’m optimistic; you sound like a spot on geezer, a positive attitude doesn’t work for all circumstances, but a negative one certainly never does. Cheer up and enjoy watching this young England team grow; I think they’ll be good, really good.

  • @chanctonbury63 2/3 …England now have a young crop to mould into RWC 2015 contenders and there is nothing wrong with looking to the not so distant past for a bit of inspiration and guidance in how to get back to the top. The RFU needs to work hard to regain public confidence, no comment there as I don’t think much of them either, but I do rate our players.

  • @chanctonbury63 1/3 Respect to you for being a competitive beast, I share that; I hate losing and I always want to see England win at anything they take the field at. In terms of "being sick of reflecting," how do you find yourself watching this awesome clip in the first place? You have to be either Welsh, Scottish or antipodean to not have the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when watching this 2001-2003 England team play; pride, that's the underlying emotion......

  • @rwalter23 I catch myeslf reflecting from time to time, but less and less as the years wear on. The key to the future, or lack of one lies as much with the players as it does with the level above them. Even when Johnson ran out of pensioners and finally brought in some serious young talent he couldnt make it work. Its about more than just the players. Lets see who the RFU come up with. Im not holding my breath.

  • @rwalter23 Unless the RFU can put together a decent coaching team we are doomed. For the third time. 5 people will be involved. McGeechan and OShea. Fair enough. Andrew. Why???. Bowring. A very average club captain at LWRC. I know. I played under him. He was also a useless Wales coach for 3 years. And the bloody thing will be chaired by a man who used to run a tennis club!! 5 people!! I smell another committee. Here we go again

  • it's strange how much rugby (english rugby in particular) has changed in just 8-10 years! i don't how, it's simply...different

  • Not a single weak link

  • Comment removed

  • absolutely outstanding video, puts a smile on my face everytime!

  • This team had everything. I agree, probably the best squad to ever live, the hand speed in the back line is top notch.

  • Comment removed

  • Great video mate, hats off :)

  • 4:06 Richard Hill totally outruns Dominici. Beast!

  • If you dislike this you don't know what rugby is.

  • The best rugby squad in history... i miss these days...

  • @ShDizzle wrong! wrong! wrong! no different then any other successful team, except thse twats just could not keep it up, hence flash in a pan! nothing history will ever remember.

  • Those last few moments make my hair stand up on end...

  • I wish I had watched more rugby during that time. Also Ben Cohen is a fuckin legend

  • Great team of England ! Repect from France .

England and France Brother forever !

Sorry for my bad english .

  • it scares me to think will England ever be like this again

2003 no 1 2007 (robbed) 2nd 2011 please dont make me laugh knock out quarter final

its just going down hill hoperfuly better luck in 2015

  • This team had everything:

    - The crushing front row of Vickery, Thompson and Leonard.

    - The big guys at 2nd row.

    - The forever-annoying third row of Moody and Back together with the power of Dallaglio.

    - Dawson, incredibly creative and a very corageous halfback.

    - Wilkinson, THE BEST

    - A powerhouse centre (Tindall) and a faster, more dynamic one (Greenwood)

    - A powerhouse Wing (Cohen) and an extremely fast one (Robinson)

    - A reliable and powerfull fullback (Lewsey)

    Can you ask for more?

  • @maxguarda Richard Hill was infinitely better than Moody: The Holy Trinity of Hill, Back, Dallaglio, one of the best backrows in the history of rugby.

  • @Olyy True story, I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one ;)

  • @maxguarda

how about the choice between leonard and woodman. the holy trinity of hill, back and dallaglio.

  • @maxguarda wilinson was always shit!

  • @maxguarda you forgot poor old richard hill he was a legend in himself quietly just being awesome! But yer it was it had everything will greenwood was just woahh

  • @maxguarda ur forgetting the best captain ever in martin johnson. and what about richard hill?! he was first choice 6 not moody, and considered one of the best flankers ever

  • @maxguarda Yeh, you forgot Richard Hill, one of the greatest blindside flankers of all time and put Moody ahead of him. Nice one. Also Greenwood wasn't faster than Tindall.

  • Never get bored of this video

  • Brilliant vid mate.

  • That was the best tribute I have ever seen....

  • There's only three things that have made me cry in my adult life. Watching my daughter being born was one: watching Concorde take off was another: and seeing this fabulous England team win the WC after wiping the floor with every other side in the world. What a team they were. Well done to NZ: you deserve the WC. But let this Englishman have his memories of 2003.

  • @sgh1963 you actually cried when a plane took off? Like, properly blubbered? Oh my god... sob sob... it's just so... sob sob... aerodynamic... oh boo hool!

  • @sgh1963 wiped the floor with ever other country? i hardly call killing the ball, drop goals and penalty kicks to win by a couple of points wiping the floor! and i will never let the poms have anything! they won rwc when everyone else just did not have a good team, see what happens when every other team plays well and england is just england? 2011 rwc most honest world cup yet .

  • @meshuggahnutt101

In 2003 legends of the game such as Tana Umaga, Ritchie McCaw, Wood, O'Gara, BOD, Pichot, Larkham, Latham, Giteau, Gregan, G Smith, Jauzion, CauCau when he was good, Michalak, Howlett, Spencer, Carter (admittedly nothing like he is now), Williams, Mortlock etc. I think other teams had some excellent players. And England scored 36 tries in that World Cup. And beat the All-Blacks with 2 men sent off the year before in New Zealand. You, sir, are a moron

  • the dislikes are all scotish!

  • amazing video son

  • When England players back then scored tries they had celebrations that were sportsman like unlike Chris Ashton's....dam I miss Tht team!

  • Brilliant, need i say more?

  • take a bow son, fantastic vid!

  • Notice how the celebration has changed when a try is scored this team knew that it was points on the board but still a game to be won. A different attitude indeed!!

  • What an unbelievable squad we had: back up players such as Moody, Bracken, Leonard, Catt, Corry, Worsley and Healey - all quality in their own right. In the starting 15 we had so many leaders out there, something which is sadly lacking today - the likes of Tindall now receiving the captaincy by default as he has been around for a while. It's actually sad to watch this and realise how far we slipped immediately after the 2003 RWC and 8 years on we show no signs of ever reaching that level again.

  • Feels like a requiem mourning England rugby's demise

  • Comment removed

  • its really ironic that the Braveheart soundtrack is used for this LOL

  • England will back.!

  • Unbelievable stuff, you forget how good these boys were. Legends from 1-15. Would hammer anyone in the current world cup, or any for that matter. Only John Eales Wallabies of '99 come close to touching this side.

  • @MrJonboy761 wrong! typical full of shit pommy prick, england are nothing and always will be!

  • Iv actually never seen a better video on youtube, it just feels good to watch this video

  • oh for another Will Greenwood - what a player :-)

  • omg awsome stuff :)

  • Have we really found a replacement for Ben Cohen?

  • Great video!

  • This England side were awesome, one of the best of all time.

  • Ben Cohen... What a player...

  • i'd go as far as to say the best rugby team ever

  • @alhoppy no not even fuckin close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the most average team ever! what did they do that hasnt been done before or since?????? huh clown?

  • @meshuggahnutt101 Are you seriously retarded................... do you even know anything about rugby? lets see what did this England team do................... well they beat South Africa, Australia and New Zealand on their own turf which no northern hemisphere team had done before, they won the grand slam and then the world cup in Australia, the place which was undoubtedly the most difficult place to win at when you consider the hostility they got during the entire competition. But no nothing.

  • @alhoppy what and you think that this flash in the pan s the greatest achievement of any rugby team of all time??? hahahaha whos the retard?? you poms need your fuckn heads read. usless!

  • @meshuggahnutt101 You're the retard as I already stated, I never said it was the greatest achievement of all lifetime.... I said it was the best rugby team ever...... so what you're basically saying is that for a team to be remembered they have to be amazing for about ten years rather than 4 or 5..... sounds like a bitter Australian to me, you lost get over it........

  • @alhoppy they are no where near the greatest team of all time! what they did is nothing special! maybe for you guys it is but for us its just routine! cock hole! and im not aussie! typical thick englishmen thinking any antipodean must be aussie.

  • @meshuggahnutt101

"Flash in the pan." We beat the Aussies 5 times in a row from 2000 to 2003.

Your recent post brought me to these conclusions; you're either still in year 8 at school and haven't yet developed the skill of supporting a written argument (not to mention a grammatically correct, properly structured sentence) or an ignorant, half witted, remould who has a chip on their shoulder towards the motherland and the "Poms" or, all of the above most probably.

    You like cricket too?

  • @rwalter23 ohhhhhh wow im soooooo impressed! not! you just sound like a fool mate and if i meet a person like you id just deck ya so fuck off

  • @meshuggahnutt101 Such quick threats of physicality are the tell tell signs of someone who has reached the end of their mental powers; you poor wretch; born into a society of insecurity, ingrained prejudice and racism, your older sister is probably your mother too .. and it's not even your fault.. that's the tragic thing. The best thing to do is leave you now with your small words (not to mention brain), to fester in your own ignorance..... and this is what I'm going to do. All the best dearie.

  • @rwalter23 fuck your boring man.......

  • @meshuggahnutt101 And you have about 5 brain cells, fester some more ignoramus, now off you go to pleasure your mother just after your big brother has finished greasing her up, you won't even touch the sides.

  • @meshuggahnutt101

    One more thing sweetie;

using bad language/swearing isn't the best way to get your point across either, it merely reaffirms your restricted intelligence, which is most probably no fault of your own as repetitive in breeding in families (usually confined to the lodgings of a caravan) contributes hugely to stunted neurone development in the brain.

Well done for reading this far; now go get a dictionary and see if you can work out what I've said to you.

    Ignorant remould.

  • @rwalter23 clown shoes! you had to go to the dictionary to write your little story there didnt you? you can try take the focus off your shite rugby team all you want but facts are facts and you can try dance around it all you want but, flash in the fuckin pan wank stain! shit rugby nation ! shit team!

  • fantastic video!

  • the speed in 1:36 is unreal

  • Awesome all i can say

  • Sir Clive Ronald Woodward what a legend!

  • *favorite*

  • Cowen, Lewsey and Robinson the best back three England have ever had.

  • @CockstarStudios023 its from the braveheart soundtrack

  • i don't think there has ever been a better squad than this in world rugby :)

  • @flankergs the south africa team that had joubert, pienaar, westhuizen, du randt, chester williams etc.. was pretty tidy! australian team with lynagh, farr-jones, campese, eales.

  • @TomUK7 wrong

  • @flankergs The recent NZ team was fucking fantastic. Watching them was sublime - England were a sad shadow of this team :-(. Maybe next time, when we're hosting!

  • @edj66 wrong

  • @edj66 nz always produce a top team, except for around this period ,they were hot and cold, still shouls have meet england in the final tho.

  • @meshuggahnutt101 you are not fooling anyone, a flame war is not going to happen, you are a sad example of a poor bitter individual. England won, get over it, for them to win it would require them to beat everyone, hence the best in the world. Even the New Zealanders and Aussies can respect the power of this team, they will not be forgotten in a hurry. Now please sod off and never darken this video with your presence again.

  • @tkdguruforme im from new zealand mate and yes good team but nothing more than a flash in the pan, sorry but i think the only people who wont forget will be the english. no offence intended great era for english rugby

  • @101metalmilisha I am not going to change your mind on this, so I shall say again, please stop posting such comments. There is no constructive need to it as they shall be remembered for a long time due to the fact they were lion tour champions, six nation grand slam champions and finally world champions in a nail biting finale, last 20 seconds in the second half of overtime. I am sorry to say they shall be remembered long after 2011 is forgotten my friend.

  • @tkdguruforme haha if you say so! in england maybe, your all still clutching to 2003 for grim death! its sad really. 2011 has been hailed as the best rwc ever held i dont think its memory is going anywhere fast. wow 6 nations what an achivement!!! (sarcasm)

  • @101metalmilisha Obviously your patriotism to your team is admirable, they are the best thing since sliced bread etc. everyone thinks that, household names will be different, loyalties will be different. Your team has already been forgotten north of the equator mate. A 'flash in the pan' as you put it, these guys are still remembered. Yours are already forgotten. Sorry to break that little nugget of info to you mate, its the truth.

  • @101metalmilisha "2001 has been hailed as the best rwc ever." Na, sorry bro, it was pants and the final was won by an AB team that deserved to win as they have been consistenly beenthe best team over the past four years, but really it should have been in French hands (though it pains me to say it) if it wasn't for missed penalties. Enjoy it whilst you can because power shifts can be quick ininternational rugby.

  • @rwalter23 There was no RWC in 2001.

  • @chanctonbury63 Your point being?

  • @rwalter23 My point being there was no RWC in `01.
