  • HO ME

  • danng man those are some loooong stabalizers jeez. u guys shoot leauge?

  • my stabilizer is 4 feet longer then yours bro ;D

  • Do you have to retighten your bow when you used it fore a while?

  • omg cheap bastards! hold the string yourself lol. that's why long/recurve bows are better!

  • @bigboijustin,

Shut up. Improving your accuracy with a release does not make you a cheap b******. It also doesn't mean that long/recurve bows are better. Each have their advantages and disadvantages. If people who shoot long/recurve bows act like you do then I want nothing to do with them. I shoot compound, but I have shot recurve and they are pretty hard to be accurate with right off the bat. I can now make pretty good groups with mine. I still don't think one is better than the other though.

  • @bigboijustin You're fucking stupid, maybe the string hurts their fingers, when I shoot my compound I cannot use my fingers. My hands are arthritic and I cannot use my fingers on the string or it will trigger my arthritis, so I'm forced to use a release.

  • @Mrwilwak let me just step onto this archery range here with my camera...what do you mean im being thrown off the grounds for my own safety?!

  • he has more problems than his fletchings

  • хорошо

  • Releases are for pussies

  • people can shoot 2 hundred yards... with little dinky stablizers

  • is the guy on the left using a pink bow?

  • @ickivicki100 he might be, there were some bows for breast cancer or something like that awhile ago. That might be it, idk though

  • i dont know why people like shooting these machines, i bet they dont even understand the fundamentals of real archery! A 50 lbs korean bow ( IF YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS ) can shoot up to 280 fps !

  • @warbowgeeks my compound shoots 350-380 fps more than anyone needs nothing wrong with either bow

  • @warbowgeeks woow dude a physics of a compound bow is the pully system, so a 50 lbs korean bow has a pull back of 50 lbs and a relase force of 50 lbs and a 50lbs compound bow has a pull back of 50lbs but a release of 100lbs this is caused by the pullys same kind of system of a crain, there fore making a very powerful bow also very efficent

  • Sie lösen schlecht und lassen ihren Arm nicht stehen.. So kann das nichts werden. @ Mel, dein Peep-Sight ist nicht eingestellt!

  • If you can't reload it in 2 -5 seconds you can't use it in a fight?

  • @nightshadao some compound archers can reload in under 5 seconds and i know this to be a fact as i can reload and shoot and arrow in under 7 seconds from a compound and it be accurate

  • where is the tube for in the front,

    i really like these bows.

  • @theHardcoreChaos those are stabilizers or a stand so you can put it down

  • @theHardcoreChaos they are stabilizers

  • old fuck

  • how much did these bows cost?

  • good video start at 2:18

  • LOL at the guy trying to lick the camera

  • whats the purpose of the long stick pointing out the front?

  • @dangerous1portal its a stabaliser it helps balance the bow but ive never seen one tht long

  • they both have a release

  • Holy crap those bows are silent. Nice shooting.

  • looks like a real fun hobby, is it expensive?

  • @new9876 bows can cost up to 500 dollars and if u want to go hunting with it the pull back strength has to 30 or up in mn. It can be pretty expensive to

  • what do you guys pull

  • 2:20 i think he's a bit kinky :P

  • guy on the left has really bad form....

  • What are the nmbrand names of the bow u guys have and were can u get them

  • back ko!

  • whats the advantage of a thumb erlease over a mechanical one?

  • does the stabilizer just quik detach, cause its like 5ft long lol.

  • hiya who put this video on coz i know the guy on the left called mel i used to shot for wakefield archers with him i long time ago just wondering how the hell is he let me know cheers from rob

  • For how much could i buy a bow to have fun with? Not pro not newbie one. Just a normal bow.

  • @HammerCOB

For a compound bow you're probably looking at around $275 as a minimum. You can get introductory youth bows for like $30.

  • you should let the bow swing after u let the arrow goes

  • bow on the right is a mathews drenalin

  • Show the target.

  • you should get a hoyt bow

  • Comment removed

  • @djsarchery nah he should get a hoyt

  • Comment removed

  • @djsarchery i know more than most people

  • Comment removed

  • @djsarchery hoyt feels better than mathews to me ive shot both and i think mathews sucks pretty bad the feel was awful and the draw was rough and it didnt shoot very fast but you know thats just me if you dont shoot a hoyt your missing out on alot i think hoyt shoots faster more consistantly and felt all around better so try one

  • or just try ur mum! she is fast and hard! ahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahaha ..... well im accualy the hard one but meh...

  • @swskeg what? are you gay

  • @djsarchery you spelled feel wrong

  • yah i know i was an a rush but whatever kid when you no more then you can talk oh ps i spelled no wrong

  • @djsarchery you spelled it wrong twice hahaha you didnt even correct yourself

  • maxence: it doesn't have a name. It's just a serial number: CO-002 or something like that. it's some taiwan made crap.

  • is that a sure loc sight and if it is what model and how much did it cost.

  • depends what you buy from sure loc, I have a 9 inch callenger for sale for 240$

  • the mistake was buying my stupid bow. It is HORRIBLE!

  • whats the name of your bow?

  • there bow has a massive erection

  • Need some rambo explosive tips on these arrows...

  • justin i am willing to guess that you couldn't hit the target from 30 yards... 60 yards is actually a pretty tough shot...

  • Prodigy, 60 yards with these new bows isn't really that big of a deal. Now 10 years ago when you were getting about 230- 240 feet a second, with 50% let off at best, it was impressive!

  • i use like an old bow the club sold me cheap. its like 7 years old and has like 50% let off. no site just peep site. i have pin taped to front.

  • wow those bows shoot frikin fast and flat! my 25 lb youth compound (terrible mistake) has to lob an arrow to that distance!

  • what was the mistake???

  • That guy on the left with the camo sleeved shirt has such a quiet bow. All you hear is a little squeak kind of a sound.

  • i shoot with a simple wooden bow. might be able to hit the target that far but never the bulsey compound bows are easier to shoot by far

  • I can consistently hit the bulsey at 100 with a PSE nova II Took 3rd place in a archery tourney in Oklahoma. All the others had similar bows with the big stabilizer and precision this and that. What a waste

  • Wow, compounds sure are difficult to shoot...

  • why do you need all those things in the bow.. cant you just use something simple like in older times?

  • i'll never understand why people think they need

    stabilizers that long

  • i just got one for my birth day and im 11 iam also going bow hanting and uck hunting :)

  • Those huge stabilizers look rediculous

  • can u imagine huntin with those lol

  • would be nice ;-)

  • thats kinda why you dont hunt with them. theyre for target shooters. they just make you hold steadier without having to have more weight on the end of your bow

  • So is your spelling.

  • lol

  • ganz cool

  • I do think they should get a traditional bow, because i think it's more fun.

  • agreed. Its more natural for me to shoot with traditional one. WIthout those aim facilities and stuff. Medieval archers didn t have in fact, and they were wery good at shooting.

  • i completely agree...a medieval archer could have shot the target 3-4 times in the 13s it took these two to loose an arrow

  • then again, their lives depended on it lol

  • oh ya.. cause u were there right? me too... the good ole days i call them. times have changed though, get used to it.

  • umm..whats with the german camo? you guys are from the UK right?

  • lol so what. I'm from holland and i would wear any kind of camo.

  • im 13 and i use a hoyt trykon sport that i bought for 350 after other stuff i was up to almost 500, and i beat 30-60 year old people at my club that are known as good, and im the only kid ever there to get a perfect score, but thats at 20 yards and 30 shot

  • I have written you before maybe you can send me some pointer's on how to get the sure-loc sight sighted in. Is it hard or easy.

  • That was excellent shooting practice at 60 yrds. What type of site system are you using. I have the sure-loc site system. But didn't get a bow for it yet.

  • I've been using SureLocs for a while now. Love 'em, too. I use a 29mm SureLoc scope with 2X Swarovski lens and a black circle reticle. That system works for me, but the possible combinations is nearly endless.

  • did you hit it i

  • its called draw weight you cock sucker

  • A bit more back tension would help!

  • good shooting, I can shoot 3" groups at 75 yards with my hunting setup, my friend whacked an elk at 84 yards, took about 60 yards and the bull was dead. its all shot placement. keep up the good work.

  • I wonder what it would be like to be an arrow.

  • i shoot a compound, 30 yards, but ive only been shooting for about 3 weeks, i started off with 26 pound, lmfao, but we thaught it was set at 35, but it wasnt, so we put it to 35 pound, (mind you this is the first weekend of compitition ive ever done) and i got 1st place, all i was aiming to get was the target, we where shooting turkey's (3d), so it was kinda hard, but i loved it, definately a sport to get into

  • How come the guy on the rights bow breaks everytime he shoots?

  • how many pins are they shooting with....good shooting by the way

  • hey when you use sights and a release do you have to get a special liscense or something isnt that cheating i garuntee i will out shoot most with out sights and just shooting fingers with a 20 year old bow

  • YOu do not have to get a license because of the stabilizer and sight. And nom you will not outshoot most people that shoots a compound. They shoot 1400+ out of 1440 points, 290+ out of 300 and 350+ out of 360.

  • Where are you getting your results from? FITA list 24 people who have shot a 1400 FITA round at WRS competition. I'd imagine the average to be around the 1250 mark.

  • And the world record is still 1410 I believe, and noone has shot a perfect 1440 as far as I know.

  • FITA world outdoor record is a 1414...by Roger Hoyle

No one will EVER shoot a 1440...90 is not cleanable...not ourdoor anyway

SureLocs are good, but I prefer the Copper John 2

  • Just never liked the 3rd axis setup on the ANTS sights. I still have an old Dead Nuts Pro III that I use for hunting and BHFS 3D. Great sight and very well made, as are the ANTS. I just prefer the machine work of the Surelocs and the ability to easily remove the axis block and scope to put the sight back in it's case. ;-)

  • That's the great thing about ths sport, what ever your like, there is something for you. I have worked P/T in a pro shop for almost 19 years, I've tried them all. Can't say much is bad about the SureLocs, only that I have has less problems with my Evo2 then any other sight I've owned.

  • how come we dont get to see the target at the end of the vid i want to see how well you did...... =(

  • The bow on the left is a Bowman AccuRiser. You can tell by the I-beam like riser construction and the pivoting grip in front of the riser. Only bows built like that. Stuart Bowman makes a top notch machine, no doubt. A friend had one with Wedel shoot through cams and we called it "The Conraption"!

  • You've got a good eye.

  • nice bow but u gata show were u hit and wats with the old guy

  • The results are in another one of my Videos called Compound Bow 60 Yards No.2 Score.

  • if i ever get to kill some one, god, i hope it doesnt happen, i would like to kill them with an arrow.

  • lol!

  • you do not know how many times i have thought that.

  • no witnesses right and no noise! lol

  • With the power of some bows, you could easily shoot through about 6 people with a compound.

  • wonderful. even better. im guessing if you shoot at the head it will go right through the skull right?

  • Well I would not try it but I doubt a human skull would put up any resistance against an arrow from a compound, recurve or even longbow. The target they are shooting at is actually backed with Kevlar (Material used in bullet proof vests) to stop the arrows from passing through the target.

  • they tested some stuff with compound bows.

you shoot right thru one of those shields the cops use, clean thru.

  • whats the difference between the bow on the the left and the right, the frame looks different.

  • The guy on the left is using a Martin bow, I dont know the model.

  • the guy on the left (my dad) is shooting an accuriser made by bowman in the USA. one on the right is shooting a Mathews

  • jeez how would u guys can get

  • damn if indians had those bows it would have sucked for the guys fighten em

  • Its called having fun, you may have heard about it.

  • how did ya get the bows so quite

  • take off the training wheels :P

people shoot trad because its more challenging=more fun

  • no it isnt. compound bows are way more fun because they have more equipment to go with it.

  • Nice range whis it would show the results... is the guy on the left using a rip cord arrow rest?

  • Hi fiercegoose, I dont know what arrow reat he is using but I'll ask when get a chance. As for the scores from this shoot, I have them on another vid called compound bow no.2 scores. Thanks for the comments.

  • you guys are really good at shooting and compound bows are excelent for target shooting because they are hard to shoot.

  • there the easiest to shoot..

  • My Homie is right they are the easiest and thats why I hunt with mine..... you can take your time and make a good shot with the pressure release at 28.5" for me and with a 75lb. pull its really nice.... plus their the quietest in my opinion....

  • lol

  • compound bows r only good for hunting. they shouldnt be allowed in competitions.

  • Your retarded then.... what does it matter to you oldschool farts anyways if their in different divisions.... sounds like sum 1 needs to pull a stick out their ass

  • heii a i have a hoyt rintc with a sure lock and a swaroski glass of 4

  • Well your observation is good. The man in the cap use the "push and pull" technique. Where the man the red bow is drawing against his hand, so when he releases you can see the bow dropping down. Does'nt stop either one of them from being good shooters though.

  • i think the first guy on the right is practicing a push-pull technique while the guy shooting martin bow is dropping his bowarm too soon.... compound bow for target needs the proper "holding" technique for better accuracy...

  • Its a Mathews Switchback 60lb. Its a hunting bow but handles well as a target bow.

  • yah mathews makes a really accurate bow and there so much you can do to customize them that they are ideal for hunting.... considering 90% of them are camo.... I like my parker wildfire xp just beginning

  • dude i dont even know you and ur my freind because you root 4 mathews i have an outback and a apex

  • what is the names of the bow from the guy with du cap?
