  • yo dat was free mate!!

  • There's been a rape up there!

  • @galti111 I get the reference - good job.

  • Daigo knew this player was there for the taking, and he did not let us down

  • raped

  • Daigo Umehara clearly does not fuck around

  • @CircleMasher That's not being a troll? That's asking why you used that word and if you used it in those ways then it messed up what you said

  • daigo is God... lol

btw hey guys, i really need youtube friends so friend, comment, subscribe... etc :P and whoever's interested in making easy money, check out the cool vid on my channel! thx~

  • cheap koing??

there's only so much you can do in street fighter shit for brains..

  • Sick.

Daigo used to be so aggressive in his play.

    What happened to him?

  • He's still that way, but to me he needs to put some of his skills into other characters. Wong almost took him down in the last EVO in SF4, why? Because he uses and mains other characters like Balrog.

  • ..really? Seems like in the last few matches he didn't even take a round

  • Daigo also beat Justin at SB4...when Justin was using a character Daigo had little to no familiarity with...then proceeded to beat him 10-2 in their exhibition match.

  • Street Fighter 3 and 4 happened. Street Fighter 3 requires alot of defensive play and street fighter 4 is the slowest paced Street Fighter game. Something i noticed when swapping between the three is on Street Fighter 2 you can get away with alot more and you have to be agressive to win. Defense doesn't work well in SF2.

  • @jamends1220 actually from a tier perspective the best characters in all street fighter games you mentioned are heavily offensively orientated. It is harder to win defensively in SF and the tier rankings represent that.

  • Firstly, just because people disagree with you, that doesn't make them fanboys.

Secondly, you wouldn't probably lose, you would DEFINITELY lose. Your comments regarding "cheap" play show a gross misunderstanding and ignorance of high-level competitive play and trapping. End of.

  • @DrummerFromColdplay I don't think he misunderstands the concept; he is TOTALLY IGNORANT about playing real people in fighting games. The very fact that he mentioned that a KO by chip damage is cheap proves he is a total newbie to fighting REAL PEOPLE in REAL MATCHES.

  • @DrummerFromColdplay Which way did you use gross? Economic way or "eww he has cooties" way. I'm asking because that word messed up what you said completely, Good try

  • @codytravers89 doubt you could even beat your local tourney champion; pretenders to tourney thrones are aplenty, take a queue number

  • Street Fighting itself is somewhat the same way, you dont fight honorable like in a real martial arts tournament, you fight and you want to win, no matter how cheap it is a cheap KO still counts as a KO, thats like whining about garbage goals in icehocky, they are "garbage" but they still count.

  • you're a fucking idiot if you believe in "honorable play" in SF. chip damage is part of the system, if it didn't exist SF would consist of getting in and getting out after having a favorable lead. in other words, TURTLING FOREVER.

do you feel bad when trapping somebody in chess and let a few pawns escape? no, you capture as many pieces you can get, punishing your opponent for their mistake.

play to win. "top players" don't have to do shit to impress you. they do what it takes. and they WIN.

  • Try and complain as we might, you speak absolute truth. In the words of Yun from SF 3S,

"Don't you know it's rude to ask your opponent to let you win a round?"

And that's exactly what you'd be doing if you didnt play smart.

  • Well show daigo how its done then....

  • he just does what it takes to win, i suppose, which is all that really matters in a tournament game

  • you will do everything just to win. that's how any player will do to win. if you don't like how he play then bring tour comment somewhere else.

  • that is the way of a "top" player.. you average player..

  • WTF with "cheap k.o." ???

When you play to win, "cheap" means nothing...

    Only scrubs use this word!!

  • Problem, codytravers89?

  • wow dude then u fight him

  • you know what the funny thing is? doing a crossup into a shoryuken would have meant diago eating a combo against this guy or even getting caught in dhaslim's throw loop.

i guess only a person who doesn't know any better would find it distasteful to see someone wreck a guy like this. i find it disrespectful to criticize a player who is one of the best in the world- like the way you did- even if he is in his mid-late teens at the time.

  • X MANIA 2000

Thats a LOOOONGGG ass time..I think daigo was 15~17

  • man... it would be kinda scary to be next to him on the sticks.

  • wow. just wow

  • daigo not with the orange-brownish colors wtfudge?! maybe these were the colors he used back then.. an ass kicking he dished out nonetheless!

  • oh my god............. *jaw still open from first round ass beating*

  • is that daigo, the ken player on sf 3 ?

    oh[

  • Poor guy was out of his league :(

  • first round woz a killa...!!!!! PERFECT!!!!!

  • yea Daigo is a beast.

  • LOL@First round
