Aerial hunting is illegal in AK. This shows a "cull" conducted by state biologists of AK Dept of Fish and Game to increase the number of moose/caribou that feed Alaskan families. It's not "hunting" anymore than culling animals on city street is hunting. It's population control. Wild animals culled in the Lower 48 include birds, coyotes, elk, badgers, gators, deer etc. etc...and this year cougars. As those in the Lower 48 do, Alaskans will manage wildlife as we see fit.

Sarah Palin is not an elected offical. Not governor, not a senator...not even mayor of Wasilla. She has no power to continue of halt aerial wolf cull. Wolves exist in AK by the thousands because we (unlike those in the lower 48) have not descimated our wolf populations as you have, but manage all wildlife poplations responsibly. It's why we have more wolves in AK than there are in all the other states combined.

When you say that Sarah Palin "deserves to die" you are displaying ignorance. As a long time resident of Alaska I can tell you that wolves are culled here for the same reason badgers, sheep, deer and other wild and domestic animals are culled in Ireland...population control.

People in rural AK depend on the prey animals of wolves and bear for "food". Wolves and bear in some areas are culled to increase moose and caribou populations. Cullling is practiced in Ireland and all over the world.
