This was a cover of the 1952 hit by Clyde McPhatter when he was a member of Billy Ward and the Dominoes. He was influential to James' career and many others.
Call James Brown A musical and entertainment genius who championed over circumstantial adversity to become the King of Soul and other titles that have been bestowed upon his greatness.
Fantastic song, what a showman well before his time! Loved him back then and will always rate him above almost every other entertainer!
People always say someone great is irreplaceable, but James Brown is more so that that! His type of genius talent which hits so way down in the soul will NEVER be seen again in any lifetime! I grew up listening to James with some very special friends. What a waste that this man should ever have died, now or at any time. Rest in R&R James!
