For all those who haven't figured it out yet (=P), the songs i used are from Sonic Adventure 2, or the gamecube remake, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and in brawl (i have it), i prefer being sonic over mario, but that's just my opinion, please no complaints about that

You have to beat the whole adventure mode up to Bowser to fight Giga-Bowser. You may have to beat event match 51 first i'm not sure.

Action Replay is an accessory that you can buy for the Gamecube. You can probably find it on Amazon or someplace like that.

Try using Jigglypuff and using her down+b move when you're inside of him. If you do it right he gets killed in only two hits of that in event 51.

That or you can damage him a little bit (about 8% or higher) and then use rest that kills him in one hit

I didn't use a code. I fought him in Adventure mode on normal difficulty, and had to get to him within a time limit of under 18 minutes.

If you beat the game under 20 minutes on normal, then he'll show up. I believe on Hard and Very Hard he'll show up no matter what.
