Some slight modifications are welcome in my book. Ex. I, for one, like Aku Aku's new look and voice. The design maintains his original look while making him a more realistic tribal mask. While Uka Uka now looks like a real tribal mask, he looks almost NOTHING like the original! And for a mask of pure evil he sure does sound like a wimp compared to the original voice actor. Aku Aku: Good redesign. Aku Aku: Bad redesign.

@Jedi I didn't know that. I don't know that about myself. You could say I'm a child at heart when it comes to enjoying games as I don't complain about changes most of the time, but I feel older and more mature and expected that of the games I grew up with. I have to disagree. Despite Uka Uka being unrecognizable until he was established as Uka Uka, I enjoyed his redesign due to the horror look. The missing jaw, dangling bones, skeleton face. I feel the dialogue's jokes make him seem more silly.

Hmm, well the redesign does have some nice qualities like the jaw, and the blood red coating that predominates his design. The dialogue for Uka Uka in MoM is pretty funny, I have to admit. The old Uka Uka was funny too, but he was never milked! lol

@JedininjaZC I personally like using the comments, but PM me if you wish. I never thought the old Uka was funny except for that one joke in TwinSanity where he says "nooo! That's MY job!" I thought the jokes in Crash of the Titans were funny, but the jokes in Mind Over Mutant were 'meh' to me. Like they were trying too hard. I've played (in order) Crash 1, 2, 3, CTR, Bash, Nitro Kart, Wrath of Cortex (or reversed with CNK, can't remember), TwinSanity, Titans, MOM and The Huge Adventure.

in my opinion, the only problem with the crash series is that, in the original games he hardly "talked" (from what i remember) and that was a blessing, his appearance may have been improved and he may look better (i love the patterns on his hands) err..
