Why do you keep going back and forth to your resource of the Diamond? Why don't you just make the background of one of your views the resource and draw on top of it? That's how I always see people use references for modeling.

Nice end result, but YouTube destroys the quality. You should host it somewhere so people can actually see what you're doing.
