  • dude lay of the drugs

  • Do You know how to get sound to work on this TV when connected to a laptop via Hdmi cable? If you don't it's okay I just thought I'd ask. My laptop sound works fine but the speakers I can't hear out of, are the ones from my TV. Though it is showing that they are working fine (Green bar rises and falls) It is not truly working.

  • Can someone help me? I have this exact same TV and when i play xbox on it on COD. I have like a 2 second delay on the actions i make. Can someone help me fix the lag?

  • I have this same tv but when i connect my laptop with HDMI with the same HDMI channel it shows no signal whats wrong? (Note i have messed with display settings constantly with resolution and detecting monitors i've hooked my laptop before with LCD tvs before but it not responding with this tv)

  • @Noxus007 Make sure you have your display settings set to 60htz

  • @WirelessHotShot I did :( still nothing

  • @Noxus007 Send me a personal message explaining everything.

  • is the headphone jack a input?

  • @rafael661kc No, it's output. But there are adapters you can buy and make your headphone jack into a RCA and plug it into the TV.

  • My bro and I just got this for our parents for Christmas!

  • Thanks its on Sale for $198. at walmart but they also have a dvd/Sanyo available for 30 bucks more,

My question when I checked it out in the store the picture just didn't look that great, actually liked the Vizeo or the Samsung better, should i judge this on display and should I buy the extended warrenty ?

  • @Irishgogirl Yes, judge it on display because that's what you'll be staring at most of the time. And it's not necessary to get the extended warranty on a cheap TV in my opinion.

  • i thought it was 1080p

  • @mrjomammas It's not.

  • Anybody got any calibration settings?

  • Really like the video and how hard you worked on it. I have this same tv. My question: How can the speakers be on the front when i think they are on the bottom? Sorry but I don't see any front speakers.

Anyway, my comments for other users are that this doesn't make a great tv for a living room, but will suffice if you are close enough to it. I do see it as more of a bedroom tv as well. I agree: the picture, sound, and everything else seem great.

  • @doeswhathelikes I'm not sure exactly where they are but I believe in the specs, it says "2 front speakers".

    And thanks for the statement.

  • @WirelessHotShot thanks for the reply

  • Nice review this will help me figure what to get for my bedroom for playing games on :)

  • can it be used as a monitor?

  • @ambriz559 It can, but I would not recommend it because it don't look good 1-2 feet away from your face.

  • Just bought this tv yesterday and am pretty happy with resolution, don't have cable or satellite and it won't seem to pick antenna stations a tv in another room (30 feet away) does, ie cbs and nbc. also can't seem to get the usb function to work.....nothing comes up from supposed onboard software. I'm not a techie just need a little help. thanks.

  • @cfmack69 You might need a digital converter because they don't support Antenna signals anymore.

  • I bought it today and it was right next to the Samsung 22 and vizio 22 and boy they were small I haven't set up my TV yet I'm wait for my dad to set up the wall mount and the TV is only 238 hurry up and buy yours today!

  • Nice tv....just bought for my son....Great review!

  • hey i could never find out how to play sound from my pc via dvi to hdmi, but i did discover something interesting. i hooked my electric guitar up to the tv and the tv actually works as an ok AMP. its good if someone has this tv and bought a guitar but cant afford the amp. i tried hookin the guitar up to speakers tried hookin it up to the line in, in my pc but nothing tried 2 other TVs and it did not work, but it does work with this tv. just thought id let u and everyone else readin know.

  • what do you mean by slow hdmi? i just bought this tv so i can play ps3 through hdmi

  • Hotshot, you said that black ops plays good on yours, I can't say that any game looks good unless my character is standing still, the same with dvds.

  • Is anyone else experiencing very noticeable motion blur/ light and color trails with this tv? Just bought this tv last week and the motion artifacts are unbearable. I will return it, but need to figure out if it's a defective unit, or will another do the same thing. Basically, it's light and color trails and blurring whenever there's movement or action on-screen. It shows the worste when the tv is displaying darks and greys.

  • i bought this tv back in november i like it, but have a couple questions that maybe u can answer. ok i have a PC that has a DVI out which i have a dvi to hdmi adapter so i can connect my pc to the tv with a hdmi wire. but how do i get sound to play from my pc through the tv? i know one of the components a/v inputs r suppose to work if u r using DVI but it doesnt.

  • @johnreese12010 The DVI to HDMI adapter will work. But for audio, you should use a 3.5mm headphone cable. Plug it into your computer speaker port and then plug the other end (it should be the same type of plug on both sides) into the TV. Should be a spot for it.

  • @WirelessHotShot i tried pluging the 3.5mm cable from pc to tv but no sound still, and isnt that 3.5mm input only for the pc/vga input?

  • @johnreese12010 I haven't really experimented with the 3.5mm plug, but it looks like you should be able to plug a source in there and sound should come out of the TV speakers.

  • @WirelessHotShot if u look on the side of the tv at the HDMI 1 its say DVI audio and u follow the white line from it to video 3 it also says DVI audio from wht ive red u should be able to plug something into the audio at video 3 and hear it while on HDMI 1, but it doesnt seem to work i checked all settings. iv searched every where online cant find out no wheres.

  • @johnreese12010 I see. Hmm, I'm not sure. I really don't encounter using those ports, but I'm not sure what to do. Sorry man.

  • @johnreese12010 Okay I see what you mean. What I suggest is that you find a DVI to VGA adapter so that you can plug the VGA in and then you can use the audio.

  • @WirelessHotShot well i have a vga but i cant get my pc on the right resolution with the tv with vga thats why i use the HDMI. O well, thanks for trying to help. appreciate it.

  • ite

  • do you think u should play your xbox on this tv on 720p or 1080i

  • @ibefly0 720p and 1080i have almost no difference, so I would say 720p because it will look the same and it will be less resourceful on cables.

  • I meant SD not SG.

  • It's a great little TV. I just got it for $238 at Walmart to use in my bedroom. I don't have an HD box in my bedroom but SG on this TV looks better than it did on the CRT TV that I replaced.

  • @borg5575 Yeah, it's a nice little TV.

  • this tv can play 1080p i use it on te ps3

  • @gamblerinc54 It can probably play 1080, but it's not true 1080p because it doesn't have enough pixels for 1080.

  • Quick question, my sanyo 26" doesn't seem compatible with my xbox. There's a slight delay in my game action and timing it right seems pointless. Do you know the answer to this problem?

  • @Kacey1100 Are you using the composite or HDMI?

  • @WirelessHotShot composite

  • @Kacey1100 Hmm I don't know. I had a slight lag when I used the HDMI, but then it went away a few days later. Give it some time and see if you notice it after that.

  • Recently bought the tv, what can I do about using headphones on it? The audio jack on the side doesn't read them!

  • @Song27 The headphone jack that's built into the TV is for input not output.

  • I'm thinking of picking one of these up today.

It works well for gaming, correct?

Would it be worth the upgrade from a 20 inch tube tv?

Also did you say it lags with HDMI? What do you mean by that?

I plan to use an HDMI from my Xbox 360 with it and play Online would it work?

    Also are the colors nice?

Any Feedback would be much appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • @Pwnagehahaha 1000 times better then a CRT TV. And the lagging issue turned out to be nothing; don't worry about the lagging.

  • i just got this TV, but thanks, now i know it's a good TV! :)

  • Hey man, thank you VERY MUCH for this review!! Very helpful, insightful and informative. Exactly what I needed to make a decision. Thanks!!

I plan on using this as a bedroom tv with a viewing distance of 3-4 feet. A 26" is the right size for that right?

  • @Song27 I sit about 10 feet away from mine and it's perfect. So 3-4 feet will be fine for you.

  • Great review!!!

  • is this tv good for gaming? ps3?

  • @angelsilva54 Yes

  • this is kind of urgent, does the tv have a setting where after a computer shuts offs its display, does it automatically recognize no signal and shut of the monitor until you wake the computer back up?

  • @bennyboytx HDMI sends power over the cable as well and the tv recognizes it and shuts the display off; kinda like a computer monitor.

  • crap tv you sould of got the sanyo 26 inch 720 p hdtv dvd/combo DP26670 its awesome

  • @MrPenguinmaster3000 This was all the store had. But this is sill a great TV.

  • @WirelessHotShot where did you get the tv from

  • @MrPenguinmaster3000 Good old Wal Mart.

  • @WirelessHotShot i got my tv there to

  • what all do you need for a surround sound

  • @sulross3 You have to buy the surround sound speakers and subwoofer at a store. That's wide question.

  • nice vid i need a tv i game alot...on black ops especially. Great review though i just need to come up with the money...

  • @TheAceKing67 If you want some advice, the best time to buy a new HDTV is in March or so. That's when companies come out with new TVs and want the old ones to be gone, so they sell them for a lot less. My friend just bought a 32" Vizio the other day for $300. $60 off what it was 2 months ago.

  • @WirelessHotShot true thats a great price for a 32",and yea im gonna look into it

  • Im Getting This In 2 Weeks

  • @wirelesshotshot yea i made a video today go to my channel n look at it n c what i did wrong

  • @wireless hot shot i hear it turn on but i cant see the picture

  • @ibefly0 On the Xbox cable, did you switch it from TV to HDTV?

  • i got this tv for christmas and i tried hooking up my xbox cords that came wit the xbox to hd and it didnt work do i have to buy the hdmi cord for it to work

  • @ibefly0 You can use HD component (the blue, gree, red, red, white). Just make sure you switch the input over to whatever port you plug them into (each one it labeled near the ports) and then make sure you switch the switch on the Xbox cords to HDTV not TV. Hope that helped.

  • ever consider becoming a youtube partner? you can get paid for this shit!
