  • That's actually really smart!

  • For the record as someone in the biz, if someone hands me a cd with a cd sticker like that, i toss it in the garbage, after getting countless ones stuck in my car stereo and having to get a new one, if you can't afford a real cd label you probably aren't invested enough in your music to play at my venue, be at my label, or be played on my radio station.

  • @samsteiner Or you're just an asshole. Some of us dont have fucking money you bigshot fucker.

  • @OffTheWallGaming For the record, I'd rather receive a blank CD with a sharpie title on it. You don't have to have money to make a CD. But if you are to the point in your musical career where you are utilizing physical press kits, you should have invested money already in pressing your first album...

  • @samsteiner Not at all true.

  • It sux.

  • Lightscribe

  • expert village sucks ass!!

  • The only problem I have with this video is that those CD stickers have a high chance of screwing you. By that, I mean, they won't let your CD play. Clearly at least. I actually bought a printer that has a CD print feature and bought some printable CDs. It worked fine for me. But still, good information here.

  • u r singing when u say now

  • Normally I would agree that "Expertvillage" is terrible, like god fucking awful, but this segment of videos about press kits really isn't that bad, for someone that may have never made a press kit before these have some good tips, take the knowledge that is helpful disregard the rest, simple as that. When I was working at a record label you would not believe how many people did not even put a fucking sticker on their blank CD (face palm). :p

  • What kind of paper are you using to put on the CD?

  • can you buy the blue sticker putter-onner at staples (i like making realistic mix tapes) :P

  • I prefer the full face cd label myself. There's more space on them to work on.

  • go to Visualreal. com to get free custom cd covers and profile pics done...

  • and what are those sticker majigy called?

  • where'd u buy those sticker majigy? reply back asap ty =]

  • Who uses paper labels anymore?

  • COOL

  • duh,...

  • haha 11th

  • This is actually pretty helpful...Not this vid in particular, but rather the overall series on CD press kits. Here's hoping you continue this series.

  • "You turn it over, pook!"

    LOL

  • y not just use a cd printer off ur comp

  • lol u said pooop to funny

  • This is really cool but it's good knowledge to warn people that those printed cd and dvd stickers don't alway work in all cd players because it sets off the balance, it sucks but it's good to warn the people you give your cds to. Still the professional look of having a print out on your cd is better than using sharpy pen in sloppy handwriting.

  • worst case scenario: they are so unbalanced that they explode in you cd player, and that means you can say goodbye to your cd player (and CD)

  • @Bluwhodesign will it fuck up my player or anyones that i sell a cd to I dont want to be buying new stereos

  • dude, this is youtube. you expected people to be organized and professional? You must be new to the internet.

  • hes with expert village. what did you expect?

    "EXPERT"village

  • ya right

  • that name is sarcastic, right?

  • yeah there gonna quit with nearly 80k vids. and just cause there random doesnt mean shit, search through there videos, and you will find lots of helpful shit
