  • RIP headphone users.......

  • Cool vid. What's that thing over your right shoulder at 1:32?

  • Nice, good vid. I was also quite surprised at how much more tolerable the sound of the .45 seemed compared to the9mm. I was watching with headphones on and the 9mm made me cringe a bit, but the .45 was no problem.

  • @fireman1291 all im gonna say is screw what everyone says, freaking awesome video. Really enjoyed it.

  • @shotgunsurgeon23

    Thanks!

  • A .300 blk suppressed SBR would make a very effective HD weapon, short, handy and quiet. Plus you don't sacrifice much energy by going with a shorter barrel.

  • @surgeon591

Yes it would. Its a great round.

  • Lol was waiting for the smoke detectors. Good vid

  • I think it would be very considerate of you to shoot an intruder with a suppressed firearm. Where I live houses are very close together, and the likelihood of a subsonic round traveling into my neighbors house is greatly reduced compared to high performance rounds that most people keep loaded in their home defense firearms. Shooting someone in your house with a non suppressed firearm not only is very loud for your family, but would also wake and panic your neighbors. That would suck if the cops

  • Dude the big negative is when the jury cooks your ass for using an NFA weapon for home defense ROFL, IF you had to ever eliminate a threat, you WILL be in court, and using an NFA item just makes it that much easier for assholes to grill us on the stand. :(

  • @MrRichardsSmoker

I hear this time and time again and its simply not true. People spread this bad rumor and can't back it with any fact. The FACT is that in FL if someone breaks in your home you can use any means necessary to stop the threat as the intruder is automatically thought to do you great bodily harm. If someone broke into my house and I killed them it would never even make it to a jury as the DA wouldn't press charges. And in FL the deceased BG's family can't civily sue. FACT ;)

  • @fireman1291 Dude if you think you won't be in court your sadly mistaken. Have you even seen the percentage of cases where the homeowner was cleared? Lets just say our odds are not good. I've spoken with many attorneys regarding this matter, as I too own NFA items and live in the state of Florida, its tempting to play James Bond but your taking a risk, I don't care what forum member told you otherwise buddy. You would look like a fucking retard in front of a Jury. FACT :)

  • @MrRichardsSmoker

Listen "dude" if someone breaks into my home Im not going to ask questions are you? Home invasions/murder happen every damn day in the state. The DA couldn't press charges if they wanted to. I would have not broken any law. A suppressor is a muffler and thats that, its a tool that does a specific job. Good luck trying to paint me as James Bond when I was the one sleeping and some criminal broke ito my house in the middle of the night. Try finding educated lawyers to talk to

  • good video a question.

i thought a firealarm isnt set off that easy, how did it set off my just that little bit of smoke?

  • What state ae you guys in to get silencers??

  • @JUNEBUGCSE

    39 states allow silencers.

  • @fireman1291 california aint one huh??

  • @JUNEBUGCSE

No. Cali sucks. The won't even let you thread your barrel or have mags that hold over 10rds. lol. Funny.....pretty much every gun, silencer, and magazine I own would be illegal in Cali, yet according to thier logic me owning these things makes me a crazy killer hellbent on shooting up everything. Idiots.

  • @fireman1291 is Kentucky one of the states?

  • @Punkface1009

    silencers are legal dot com

  • @fireman1291 LMAO ya i know i hate fukin hate it here but at least we can still own firearms here so I'm thankful for that..

  • Can you do a video next time without the silencers?

  • There are some minor negatives though:

    1. Easier for perp to grab weapon.

    2. Some pistols become unreliable.

    3. The flash/bang shock to the perp is gone.

    4. The jury WILL be fed BS by the perp's lawyer that you're a born killer (or a movie-type hitman).

    5. Expensive.

That being said, I love suppressors, and wish they were treated more like any other firearm accessory. (FYI, in some parts of Europe you can buy .22LR suppressors in sporting good stores for under 50 bucks!!).

  • @cottersay any examples of 4) actually happening in any court cases? citation needed.

  • @ms3bani

Yeah, his reasons simply won't happen in FL. In FL anyone who unlawfully enters your home is automatically assumed to do you and your family bodily harm and can be stopped with deadly force. On top of that, they wrote into law in 2005 that the now dead bad guys family can't sue the defendant in court for killing thier "good boy". FL has come to its senses. And a silencer is a great tool and Ill use everything I have to get the upper hand on an intruder.

  • @cottersay A born killer that kills people in his own house? That's rather odd.

  • If you have carpeted floors its a lot quieter.

  • @MJF1911

    Indeed it is ;)

  • No offense viperboy but were you in the U.S. military? Nothing from your videos suggest that you are. Your shooting stance, clearing the jam on the Berreta 92, your body doesn't look like it had any muscle mass at all. I'm just saying......

  • home defense dogs to let me kno theres someone outside and a sawed of 20ga

  • Great video, man! Entertaining. My bed gun is an HK USP 9SD, with an HTG cycle II 9, and a surefire flashlight. I always wondered how loud that joker would be if I had to phase a mother fucker in the domicile. Now I know! Thanks. Oh and this viperbo21 kid is a complete faggot.

  • NIGHTTIME!!!

  • @TacticalBar

lol, I gotta ask. What was the bet?

  • Nighttime!

  • Awesome video, I never would be able to do that living in the city.

  • Now I wonder, what about supersonic ammo? Can you do a video of shooting supersonic pistol ammo indoors too? Your firealarm going off was pretty funny btw zz

  • Badass video man, I'm guessing by your youtube name you're a firefighter lol? I'm going to college right now getting my degree in fire science and getting my paramedic certification as well.

  • @GlockDropNRoll

Yup since 2004. Good luck brother.

  • Good stuff man.

There is a negative though, a gun with a supressor fitted is more cumbersome...

  • Why did I know it would be our crazy friend that was the "we" in the "we had an idea to shoot from inside the house". LOL

  • cool vids man, I always wondered about how the suppressors would sound inside, you shot them dry, what about doing one with them wet?

  • they look wet with maybe mnot with water but oil ive done the same test. too much smoke oil, makes alot of smoke. on the 45. look at my channel we have similar taste in toys

  • @jar3351273

That was grease from the piston. Youre supossed to lube the booster. I used slick50 grease and it smoked too much.

  • SOOO COOOLLLL

  • Brass hitting the floor? About tree-fitty...

    New smoke alarm. About tree-fitty...

    Silenced pistol goodness? Priceless.

  • that brass hitting the floor sounds awesome

  • Great vid, thanks so much.

  • the fire alarm looooooooool

  • LOL you are absolutely rediculous...

  • @blitzcrat

LOL, How long have you known me? 15years or so.....this is soo me. lol

  • The view bar is frozen again.....stupid youtube. lol

  • Thanks for Video. I got one coming. Can you test without suppress? Maybe side by with/without

  • That was awesome, i'm interested in seeing a night time version of this. Keep the videos coming its great to watch.

  • fuckin great video idea bro.

  • shooting indoors? u could kill someone! u r a fucking.. fucking.. AWESOME dude!!! LOLOLOL

  • Hey man great video as always. I just ordered an osprey 45 and was thinking about running it on my H&K and Sig (which is a 9mm) until I get my AAC Ti-rant. Just wondering if you have a video (or could make one) of a 9mm being shot through a 45 can. Keep up the cool vids!

  • @DRMS4LYFE

I believe silencerco did a video on their channel where they shoot 9mm and 40 through a 45Osprey suppressor. ;)

  • @fireman1291 You are correct sir! Thanks for the lead.

  • Must be nice....

  • LOL..I'm so glad you did this video. Shows you just how bad Hollyweird sound guys get it wrong (leaving it out) in movies even with unsuppressed weapons. I'm talking about just how loud shell casings are when hitting hard static material inside a building. I own 8 suppressors but the only one I shoot from inside is my Cz .22 bolt gun from the breakfast area out the back door.

  • @SturmAKS74U

My thoughts exactly! Glad you enjoyed the video. Checkout my other videos. ;)

  • Hope it was a big enough window lol- thanks for doing this vid though.

  • Nice video....Your wife is going to shoot you! As far as self defense in house I like noise and flash but nice video.

  • now to get a suppressor.gonna stick it on a 1911...

  • Great vid! Glad to know that my Osprey will let me keep my hearing if I ever had to use it inside my condo. I'll let the GF use my SS Sparrow on her side of the bed just so she doesn't feel left out. Thanks for the vid!

  • I`m new to the NFA world, and have been watching your vids and following your posts on the various massage forums.

Saying the word "fuck" right before shooting off the first round of the .45 was great!

I`d probably say the same thing.

  • @HotRodSprint

Glad you like my videos. Welcome to NFA, it sure is fun.

  • Was that the older sparrow or the new stainless version?

  • @HeisenbergHyopthesis

That was the 1st gen sparrow. I'm going to send it in for an upgrade later.

  • Bad ass bro. Don't let the wife watch. :)

  • lol, that's awesome!

  • cool video man, definitively a myth that you can shoot a gun in one room and the occupants wouldnt hear you in the other. Does your home still smell of gun powder? lol

  • Saw this posted on THR, awesome experiment! You should do the same test in a carpeted room/hallway, would be very interesting. Watch out for those hot casings though, wouldn't want to scorch the carpet!

  • I'm the guy behind the camera...and the .45 was much more tolerable than the 9mm. It seemed like 9mm's tone was a bit higher and a little more uncomfortable but still tolerable...

  • @viperbo21

You again? Its not a KAC sweater dipshit. Its a AAC hoodie with a KAC patch. But of course why would you know that, you're a poser and look like a complete wannabe GI-JOE in your videos. And yes I own KAC products you ignorant douche.

  • @viperbo21

I had unblocked you to see if you were going to actually contribute. But I guess your going to act like a jealous fat douche and keep spamming my videos. When others see this I hope they visit your channel so they can see what an idiot you are. And last time a checked you aren't in a warzone so you are now a civilian. You wouldn't last a day as a firefighter.

  • @fireman1291 man, viperbo really is fat. I'd be mad at the world if i was him too.

  • @viperbo21 what the fuck is your problem? seems like you're just really jealous.

  • @viperbo21 Who cares?

  • @viperbo21 Dude your fat as shit! You give the military a bad name! Also pretty sure you dont need to be a veteran to be able to shoot guns. Go eat some more cheeseburgers...

  • Excellent video keep them coming. Osprey sounded just as goos as the TiRant.

What did the wife think of this experiment?

  • Let's see suppressed pump action shotguns next

  • next time indoor with rifle?

  • next time indoor with rifle?

  • Next time test with a rifle?

  • Next time test with a rifle?

  • OIL !!! TOO MUCH !

  • This was a really good idea.

  • awesome. id have no qualms about shooting my 22 suppressed in the house. the spectre is just scary quiet with not that loud FRP

  • @phoenixsonoma

Yeah the wood floor had a hell of an echo. I have an open floor plan as well so the room is large, and with the kitchen tile behind me....it just echos. It was worst case senario. My carpeted bedroom would be better.

  • @fireman1291 most of my house is carpet floors and we have solid wood walls.

  • Comment removed

  • The ejecting shells were more annoying than smoke detector!

  • im sure your wife would be none too happy if you pulled a shot and put a hole through the wall or window.

  • @duceanahalf

Good thing I can shoot! ;)

  • Either you're single or the wife wasn't home!

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR

I was thinking the same thing!

  • this vid was badass....justin

  • Great Vid!

  • Cool vid. You should develop a line of indoor air fresheners. :D

  • nice vid, would u mind shooting the 22lr with subsonics unsupressed? with subs and regular ammo as close to 900 as possible?

  • @MrDaajman

No. I wont do it unsuppressed. The suppressor traps alot of the lead and gunk. Just goto an indoor range and shoot unsuppressed to see what it will be like. :)

  • This is so awesome ! always wanted to see this

  • @MortifiedPenguin0319

Thanks for your support. It really is a good idea for a video, it doesnt get anymore real than this. Lets face it a suppressor gives you an advantage over a intruder in your home. All videos I've seen have been shooting range footage and not in a home. Now while I would be shooting from my room which is carpeted and smaller I'm assuming the report would not be as loud. I shoud do a night demo one night and see how well it suppresses the muzzle flash.
