@BUILDSforDRIVING the supra jdm has around 280hp they understate max hp to keep with jdm regulations the u.s one has 320hp..if you dont go stupid and optimise the 2jz that comes on boost under 2000rpm(boost control . high quality turbos not bigger ones and better injectors you get a daily driver thats good for 450+) thats in the carrera's ballpark .not bad for a 17 year old car ..(mine is a 94) and still has orignal motor

If your're willing to shell out hard earned cash on maintenance fees and overpriced parts on a car that sucks to work on, go M3 and wear your 300hpN/A badge of honor. I'd rather buy something that looks sick, is easy to work on, and you can bump to over 1000hp. The supra is clearly more versatile and economic in every aspect.

@gu81singh lol true.. my supra has that much reinforcment and bracing on the suspension as standard .. and weighs in at 1500kg but is tuff as nails ..dont get me wrong the 70's ss camaro is sweet but the problem is the guy's from the muscle circle's are still thinking that highways are everywhere but on the twisty stuff they get confused ...if they go back to using irs, aluminium pannels and proper chasis tuning they will have more cred and true steeet weapons

@BUILDSforDRIVING the supra jdm has around 280hp they understate max hp to keep with jdm regulations the u.s one has 320hp..if you dont go stupid and optimise the 2jz that comes on boost under 2000rpm(boost control . high quality turbos not bigger ones and better injectors you get a daily driver thats good for 450+) thats in the carrera's ballpark .not bad for a 17 year old car ..(mine is a 94) and still has orignal motor

@nathanlotze I was talking about engine itself, not engine managment. Everyone who has knowledge understand that much more is needed when such power is taken from n/a motor. And yes, headgasket was original and it did broke, after long session on track. But it stil made that 600hp.
That is not only bmw in finland wich have been installed turbo without opening. When you tune it right it last.
