  • Neat . I wonder why these places smell

  • Excellent and informative video, really helped me a lot! Good work!

  • i am studying dis water treatment plant for exam

i want to see how actually it works

  • The waste activated and raw sludges are about 6% when they are fed into the centrifuges.

  • @bigdarby7 Wow wow wow to quick to quick!

    Before you talk about bacteria.....

Where did all the piss, shit, chloride, soap, salt, paint thinner, and all other discusting shit, went, cause bacteria won`t survive any of that.....

  • The new centrifuges concentrate the solids to about 30%.

  • at 6:50 you say the sludge is about somehting percent solid, i cannot make out the percentage could you please clarify the number for me, revising for an exam at uni and your videos are quite educational

  • Thanks for sharing this video, I am starting my job in water treatment field and need to learn much more about this, if you have more clips about water treatment, please share them, thanks again!

  • The plant is being expanded and will have a capacity of 340 million gallons per day.

  • I agree. This was my first effort and the software didn't give me a lot of options. After making this video, I upgraded to Sony Vegas and found someone with a better voice to do the narration. Check out the Jackson Pike and Compost videos. I think you'll find the editing much improved.

  • @bigdarby7 Thank you for the video, I work at a much smaller wwtp and I could'nt imagne anything to the size this plant is, its amazing to see how much larger it is. How much effluent do you have every day?

  • Good video, educational and all but it has got to be the worst piece of editing I have ever endured! I can't hear you speak with all that water moving in the background!

  • What do you have in mind?

  • Good day!

Can you be my consultant for my Project proposal?

  • Grandaddy say'd that when he be growin' up in rural Arkansaw, if the outhouse had snakes, stunk too bad or was occupied, full or whatever they would fertilize the garden by dropping loads and fluids into the compost pile.

  • Very well done video and explanation of your wastewater process. I appreciate your posting it.

  • Thank you for posting the video

  • Thank you for the video and the brief explanation you have given with that. However I would like to know the total area required to construct such a WWTP

  • Southerly sits on about two hundred acres and is currently expanding.

  • Greetings from Texas. Excellent plant! Your crew and support staff should be proud. Your effluent looks great. We all live downstream, indeed. Your people at the facility do a service for the community and the environment that goes unnoticed by most. Be safe in your workplace and proud of your end result. I am a class 'B' facility operator in Texas, and nothing gives me more pride than to know the fish love my water. Man, I have got to make a video!!!!

  • Shoot a video dude, i love fish and love those who love fish..so go go go...
