I still have my original GBA. No backlight, purple, and works like a charm. I have about 10 games with it, but suprisingly none are Pokemon. I never owned a Pokemon game. I guess that may be usual considering I was about 7 when I got it. In fact, I brought it out today when I was cleaning the junk outta my drawer and spent about an hour playing it. Games back then were so much more fun. :D

I thought your video was very well done. I use the Game Boy Advance because my Game Boy Color screen was far too small for taking screen shots, and all I had was a Super GB Booster for screen shots for my Nintendo 64, but it is not compatible for my Game Boy Color games. Back light is not much of an issue for me seeing I just play it under a table lamp in my living room. Any-ways, very well done video, and Happy 2010.

rml, is the game pokemn silver version cmpatible with the gameboy pocket/gameboy original because i have a pokemon silver and it has a sign that says gaebo on the front ad has a corner with a srt of dent and i recall you saying that the gameboy original locks the game when you turn it on

The dent is used for a nub in the system attached to the power switch that locks the game in place to prevent it from being taken out while the system is on. Yeah, Pokemon Silver is fully compatible with the original Game Boy systems.

Well the game boy advanced...sold alot for its dull little design and tiny screen. I prefer the SP more so.
