oh my gosh the Marshall Stann fight was frickin fireworks... Rhino got owned as advertized... Hat's off to Rhino for rocking Stann for the first time. Hat's off to Stann for withstanding the torrential downpour of punches from the Rhino and delivering that amazing left hook knock out... with his eyes closed
Which just proves that stann got lucky. Nothing against the jarhead, but that was a way early stoppage; rhino was down but certainly not out. Either way, they'll meet each other again, and rhino will be hungry for payback.
Honestly im not sure if his eyes where closed - He always looks like he throws punches w/his eyes closed - but I do know that left hook was the last of three bombs landing directly on Rhino's noggin. He knew exactly where Doug's head was. It was not luck. I don't know if u actually care about fighter health, but that stoppage was perfect. Doug was out of the fight. You can tell by the loose fingers and the helplessness in his eyes. The fight was stopped before there was any unnecisary damage.
this fight is old as hell. he fought for free it was a charatie show to raise money for the Ryan Bennett memorial.. what like a month out from the sincade fight.. nothing fancy no risk take as lil damge as possible and win...
I believe Rhino is a skilled fighter, but he's very hittable and will likely not have an answer for Stann's speed. Also, I think Rhino will gas, compared to Stann's conditioning.
He would get FUCKED UP in the UFC!!! NO CHANCE against Chuck, Jackson, Silva, and list goes on. It wouldn't last more than 15secs with any of those fighters. LIGHTS OUT RHINO!!
I dunno,dude...I've seen a few of this guy's fights,and he really does seem to know how to take a beating,and seriously hurt people in a short time frame. I wouldnt be suprised if he ventured to the UFC eventually. Not saying hes gonna take the UFC over by storm,but I'm sure he'd make a good name for himself pretty quickly
Doug lives in the same town as I do... I see him all the time, been to almost all his fights in the cage, and street/bar fights! I'm not saying he's not a decent fighter... just that he would get destroyed in the UFC. He has only fought no-names in WEC!
That's waht I thought about Faber, too, but he proved his medal against Curran tonight. Paulo Filho got exposed as being totally overrated. Any decent pro boxer would knock that muscle head out.
URSCHITT .... gota' agree. Marshall is a banger and will drop you if he lands clean. But guys like Dan Henderson, Mauricio Rua, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans would ALL eat this guy alive. Even Keith Jardine and Forrest Griffin would probably take him out.

his opponent (undercard of Fabe vs Curren) tonight, he should defend a cauple more times, then go to the UFC.
