Robin has always been able to see the good people that others may not see.

Even now in 2010 she still sees the good in Jason and Sonny which bothers Patrick, it makes him jealous, GOOD. Robin is the only person that can bring out Sonny and Jason's tenderness, emotion and softness that they only show around her. Their different around everyone else...
