This is definitely a masterpiece. I love the concept of this ballet version, especially how the voice and music is reflected so masterfully! The costumes and sets are divine.
I agree 100%. And the orchestra is also very good, actually. Great singers...a big bravo for the conductor, too, this interpretation is wonderfully done!
Maazel is a GENIUS here (and elsewhere too :P). The singers are fantastic! I rather like the singer who sings "Le feu"...not her timbre, but her colouratura is beautiful and fierce! Excellent everything...
