all the metroid games are supposed to make you feel alone but prime IMO captured this feeling the best way. there was no friendly a.i. and no npc's. nobody had your back, if you scream for help nobody will save you. it was you against the world, almost every living thing wanted to kill you (even the plants). no other game has made me feel so helpless but strong to survive it all. this game takes the cake, and this time the cake is not a lie it is the truth (the cold hard truth).

The thing about games like Call of Duty they have no music all you hear is gun fire or if you play online other people talking shit about how good they are at a virtual shooter; if Call of Duty or Halo had music like this when you were fighting things I think it would be a stellar hit.. IE Zombies in Black Ops if you were in a dark damp hallowed out bunker and this was playing.. HOW SCARED WOULD YOU BE!

im so glad someone put it up...loved this part of the game...would travel the entire map to just sit and listen to that music...its like when you were 12 and played halo till 3 a.m....sometimes it was nice to go to the edge of the mountain overlooking the ocean and listen to the stream flow over rocks while gazing up at the ringed planet which looks spectacular.

I'm suprised no one has posted anything about this song yet. It's a real hidden gem from the original Metroid Prime. This was one of my favorite tracks in the game because it was so quiet and subtle with those delicate piano riffs. It really created the audial environment for being underwater in an alien environment. Very sikk track. I'm so glad this was posted! :)
