Well first u need to connect it to itunes and hold both back and power button keep holdin until a black screen comes up and when it does let go of the power button and keep holdin the back button until on the computer says "found - recovery ipod mode" of somthing like that...

hi, i just watched ur vid yesterday on jailbreaking 2.1 quickpwn and i had to install itunes 8 and quickpwn and the 2.1 fw for the 3g and it all worked perfect. but when it booted up, i still had some jailbroken features such as my name instead of AT&T and the top right corner that displays digits for battery percentage, user wallpaper. but i had no jailbroken apps on their but a backup of my numbers and appstore apps and the order of the apps were the same CONTINUED

Yah but do it right otherwise you might end up unlocking which is something you don't want to do. Look up guides and don't unlock. Only Jailbreak. You will still get to keep everything in your plan and you data plan and everything. Just remember. Don't unlock. If you acidentlly do, you will have to restore your iphone.

im not a big fan of the tap to unlock. but this video is to help and show people who do like it. its no biggie. and about it unlocking in your pocket, it cant because the ipod touch and iphone are both heat sensitive rather than pressure. so as long as your hand or anything really warm is in there. you wont have a problem.
