i tried it before when my computer was on windows vista but after reformatting into windows 7.. it doesn't work at all, i tried so many times.. can you help me..? maybe it works only with the version of yahoo that applicable to it.. any idea?

@imsupertramp24 This is a per-user setting, so make sure you are editing the key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, and that you are logged in as the profile of the hive you are editing. Make sure you are on a standard edition of Yahoo messenger as well, I remember they came out with some "vista edition" a few years back that was pretty different. Other than that should work, watch the video closer and pause if need be to make sure you are editing the right keys and don't have any typos

I've had it working on XP before. It also depends on the version of yahoo you're using, make sure its up to date. Check to make sure you put the correct string (plural = 1) in the right key (HKCU > Software > Yahoo > pager > Test)

If you are the administrator on the computer and you never disabled it, sounds to me like a virus. You can find alternative programs online for registry editing, replace the task manager, etc. as temporary workarounds until you get rid of any viruses.

Hmm, you may have it set to hide offline people... go to Contacts > Show/Hide and make sure Offline Contacts is checked. If that isn't it, Id recommend just reinstalling it, all your contacts and stuff will be saved, just have to reconfigure the skins and stuff.

The windows are transparent because its Vista Aero... you have to have Vista and an aero capable PC. If you can't set it to Aero in the display settings, you probably cant do it. And I used Bulents Screen Recorder for this video.
