Very Nice recovery on stick drop, nice use of the snare/2nd tom. I'm impressed! few questions though;

what preset did you use (sorry i didnt see an answer) or are they all individually programmed?

Have you considered dual zoning all of your modules (I'm doing it to all mine so I can make use of my toms similarly and have my snare, can't use all the inputs of course but you can use the ones you want at least)

HEy um, i couldn't help but notice that your crash is pretty repetitive. And unfortunately the other cymbal is a ride. But what i have do is i have taken the snare and switched t with my 2nd high tom. And when i hit the rim of the tom, you can make it a cymbal. Now you have 2 crashes! but no rimshots... :(

@kickflipindy78 allow me to disagree, not because i own one, but the sounds are plain beautifull!!! i ve used it for gigs and the result was more than satisfactory, agreed the cymbals could be better! but, for its price its the BEST you can get! Only roland can produce better drumsets but their prices are discustingly high( yet they rule the electronic drumsets world)

Hi there, I've got it, and the only thing you have to do is to press the pedal when you turn on the sound module, to get the hi hat closed. Pressing the pedal, will open hi hat in this case.

ALESIS DM5 IS BETTER. Get the new kit updates from the Alesis website, and you got a better sounding drum module... WAAY better than the Roland TD3. ALso, the Alesis DM5 is VERY tweakable so you'll have more options and possibilities.

The new pads are better than the original DM5s. They do not feel like wood... if you've ever played on a Remo practice pad, thats kinda what they feel like. In my opinion, I think these pads are quite loud not that great for 'silent practice'. I just ordered a set of Pearl mesh heads to replace the stock heads on all the pads, and I'm pretty sure this will help to make them quieter, improve the 'feel' of the pads and increase the triggering sensitivity of the pads.

I'm thinking about getting this kit, but like probably everyone else, I wish I could get a real kit right now. But, what do you think about this kit and electronic kits in general? It seems to me like more of a rockband/guitar hero drumset and I'm just wondering if the rebound is good and if it's at least somewhat close to playing real drums, so when I do get a real set, I can transition easy enough.
