  • Why did they have to pull them out ?? I thought the babies come out on there own..I viewed a tape in USA and they come out by themselve and like a human baby they put them upside down for a bit to clear the lungs

    That vet gave birth to me actually. And she has over 40 years experience with goats, not to mention sheep. And your experience is.....? The first one wasn't gasping for air any more than normal, and has never had a moment's problem in her life.

  • Growing up on a farm, I know what the inside of a cow, horse, goat, Animals such as that.

    It is not too fun...But after seeing life coming, because you dug your hand into an animals behind, It pays off.

    Hi, Yes, the first one born is called Spring. The second one was going to be called Summer, but she died a couple of hours after being born :-(. And the chocolate brown one we called Sherlock!

  • @Ballingallgoats Aww. I'm so sorry for your loss. : ( I recently lost a baby goat to worms. She was about 3 months old. Her name was twilight. I miss her. ='( BTW, How old are the other two now?
