What in Hell is the "financial system" and why should I care? Main street works, wall street doesn't. To my simple mind wall street is a parrasite. No one has explained to me why we need FINANCIALS. The economic recession is the result of lack of management of our resources not any insufficiency. Baby boomers retiring are a problem but if our human resources where effectively managed this wouldnt be a problem. End of oil may not be happening and even if it is happening other technologies may exist which are being suppressed.

While everybody has been worrying about who the next pres will be, I have not wasted my time as I know that no pres is going to stop what is going to happen, a total collapse of the worldwide economy. I have sold everything I don't need while I could and stocked up on canned food, fishing gear and other supplies all under the cover of darkness as when this hits it's going to be very BAD, worse than anyone could imagine. No electricity, water or gas. I now am ready for the collapse.

Hate to say it, but this whole problem our country faces is mostly from all the greedy democrats who didnt want to regulate fannie mae and the mortgate industry as a whole. They wanted all minorities to be in houses and live the American dream even if they werent entitled to it and couldnt afford it. They did this for votes even though in the long run it destroyed the foundations of capitalism. Democrats threw repsonsible people under the bus and rewarded idiocy!!!
