if you actually look into the tunings of the guitar, and what it was designed for, the extra strings are ingenious in what the make possible. He has 2 e strings so he doesn't lose high end when he solos, and to give it more depth. Because anything can sound thin against the low A which he uses so he rarely needs a bass player

hi palomorado thanks for the comment mate. the guitar was built for me by andrew ellis ellisguitars . com he also makes stompboxes which i use for solo shows. the tone is from three separate sounds, a marshall plexi amp sim (sansamp) a fender twin amp and the micophone on the guitar.
