i love the mckameys! i grew up w/ their music. i've meet them! they've meet my whole family, when my g'pa died and they found out they moured like it was a member of their own family!
I don't know where the original poster got Monroe NC as their home. They live and are headquartered in Clinton, Tennessee which is about 15 miles NW of Knoxville. They all grew up here and the city even has a sign at the city limits welcoming folks to the "Home of the gospel singing McKameys". We're proud of them here!
I <3 them! My grandma use to sing me that song when I was little (god on the mount) We still listen to it when we are driving in the car... She has taken me to see them a few times so this song is really special to me

I know them VERY well, and have preformed with them. I know they live in Clinton, TN. However; this video was Live/(in person) in Monroe, NC.
