@Vandertop This reply probably comes too late for you, but for all that's worth, no, there are no caves at Alvor. Before you explore, make sure 1) you know the tide schedule 2) someone knows you will go exploring (bring a cell phone). The closest caves I know of are at Ponta da Piedade, which you can explore by boat. One additional tip for Alvor. Besides the fish, taste Tarte de Alfarroba. I used to vacation there every year in the 1980's (no cell phone then), I miss it so much I could die!
I live in alvor, and it's the best place to spend your holidays, trust me. ahaha

i've got aquestion for bovahilcote if you went to alvor in portugal what was it like cos im goin ther soon well in 2 days so is it good and hot!!!!!

Looks nice! I'm staying in Alvor next month. Are there many caves along the beaches that are safe to explore?
