  • "An Arab is no better than a non-Arab. In return, a non-Arab is no better than an Arab. A red raced man was not better than a black one except in piety. Mankind are all Adam's children and Adam was created out of clay." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim, on

  • @ProcessingQbits Jazak Allahu khair for these posts. Very good knowledge...

  • The Messenger of Allah (saw) also said, "The believers, in their love, mutual kindness, and close ties, are like one body; when any part complains, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever." [Muslim], "The faithful are like one man: if his eyes suffers, his whole body suffers." [Muslim], the authority of Abu Musa]

  • The Prophet said, "Do not give me superiority over the other prophets, for on the Day of Resurrection the people will become unconscious and I will be the first to regain consciousness. Then I will see Moses holding one of the legs of the Throne. I will not know whether he has come to his senses before me or that the shock he had received at the Mountain, (during his worldly life) was sufficient for him." (Book #60, Hadith #162)

  • Then he got up and delivered a sermon saying, "What destroyed the nations preceding you, was that if a noble amongst them stole, they would forgive him, and if a poor person amongst them stole, they would inflict Allah's Legal punishment on him. By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad stole, I would cut off her hand." (Book #56, Hadith #681)

  • Narrated 'Aisha: The people of Quraish worried about the lady from Bani Makhzum who had committed theft. They asked, "Who will intercede for her with Allah's Apostle?" Some said, "No one dare to do so except Usama bin Zaid the beloved one to Allah's Apostle ." When Usama spoke about that to Allah's Apostle Allah's Apostle said, (to him), "Do you try to intercede for somebody in a case connected with Allah's Prescribed Punishments?"

  • About mut'ah marriage (marriage for an agreed range of time, let's say we decide to marry each other for a week or so), it was allowed in the beginning, but then Umar ibn Alkhattab, a companion of the prophet, decreed it unlawful, of course with reasons

It was still marriage, like any marriage, but with a specified range

About the last hadeeth, it was about the prophet...errrm....cleaning himself after the call of nature, he would be hidden between bushes or otherwise, and clean with tools...

  • I hope I was able to deliver the message....it is meant that only in specific situations, not a total generalisation

I do not understand why you mentioned the rest of the ahaadeeth

they have absolutely no relation to the topic....

the prophet was allowed by God to marry (I think there was a limit of 12 wives), the prophet desired to make connections with companions, so at times marriage would be to strengthen the relations, at times it would be for taking care of his children....etc.

  • that being said, women can very well be more pious than men, but in this very specific matter "being allowed to not pray while in menstruation"...if two, man and woman do the exact same deeds, the woman would be doing less deeds due to that

about the intelligence, Allah decreed that also in this specific matter "witness of two women is equal to one man's", this would be the only reason....a woman could be more educated, therefore more intelligent....could be quick-witted...etc.

  • @AmdanAbla99 @sirataalmustaqeem

There is a huge difference between equity and fairness

A man will never be the same as a woman, a woman will never be same as the man...but a man and woman can have the same laws applied upon them

Men and women are not equal, they were created in different manner to complete one another's deficiencies, that being said, we can not say the woman is less intelligent than a man, nor less pious

What is meant by the hadeeth are the only reasons for saying so

  • Sahih al-Bukhari,Volume 1, Book 9, Number 479:

    Narrated Anas Ibn Malik:

Whenever the Prophet went for answering the call of nature, I and another boy used to go after him with a staff, a stick or an 'Anza and a tumbler of water and when he finished from answering the call of nature we would hand that tumbler of water to him.

  • (1)

    Sahih Muslim,Book 008, Number 3371:

Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa'id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa'id, did you hear Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-'azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi'l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them.

  • (2) So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing 'azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah's Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah's Mes- senger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.

  • Sahih Muslim,Book 008, Number 3453:

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: I felt jealous of the women who offered themselves to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Then when Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed this:" You may defer any one of them you wish, and take to yourself any you wish; and if you desire any you have set aside (no sin is chargeable to you)" (xxxiii. 51), I ('A'isha.) said: It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

  • I assume this challenge is about "gender equality in islam"(we have done already equality between muslims and non-muslims and racism in islam). Here comes the first hadith:

    Sahih al-Bukhari

    Volume 3, Book 48, Number 826:

    Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?" The women said, "Yes." He said, "This is because of the deficiency of a woman's mind."

  • (1)

    Sahih al-Bukhari

    Volume 1, Book 6, Number 301:

    Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:

Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) o 'Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands.

  • (2)) I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence.

  • (3) Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

  • @AmdanAbla99 I left this one open because equality could be more than just that between men and women. Could be rich or poor as well, but yes if it appears to be more racist then it should go on the other vid thanks.

    Racism in Islam

  • A response I got via facebook - "0 Mankind ! we created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other." (49:13)

  • and this is from me

    ((ar-Rum 22)

    * تفسير Tafsir al-Jalalayn

    { وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلاَفُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذٰلِكَ لآيَاتٍ لِّلْعَالِمِينَ }

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the differences of your tongues, that is, your languages, such as Arabic, non-Arabic and so on, and your colours, such as white or black or otherwise,

  • (2) even though [all of] you are [originally] the offspring of the same man and woman. Surely in that there are signs, indications of His power, exalted be He, for all peoples ([this may be vocalised either as] li’l-‘ālamīna or li’l-‘ālimīna, so [it means] either rational creatures, or people of knowledge [respectively]).

  • "... Let the dearest of your treasuries be the treasury of righteous action... Infuse your heart with mercy, love and kindness for your subjects. Be not in the face of them a voracious animal, counting them as easy prey, for they are of two kinds: either they are your brothers in religion or your equals in creation."

I cannot include the reference because youtube would not allow me to do so. However, if you want me to send you the link to the UN page, I'd more than happy to do so.

    Regards,

    Ali

  • And if you are talking about equality between human beings, then

here is what Kofi Annan, the UN secretary stated in one of his speeches:

"Imam Ali, the fourth Khalifa after Prophet Muhammed, instructed the governor of Egypt to rule with mercy and tolerance towards all his subjects:

  • If you are talking about the quality between women and men, then here are 2 examples:

Quranic Verse "And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed." [4:124]

Hadith "Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim (male and female)." (Hadith)
