Reason being is Marines may be less mature is that Marines are taught to be killing machines, and be as brutal towards the enemy as humanely possible. Marines take pride in killing the enemy. In my opinion Army is trained to kill, but still be a man of the people when it comes to humanitarian ops such as Iraqi freedom, and such.

The Army will take anything breathing....Army's basic is only 9 weeks compared to 14 weeks for the Corps. The Drill Sergeants in the Army cant yell anymore at the recruits. There is absolutely no comparison and I was so glad I left the Army.

Let me reiterate a fact to you... because I guess you are too brain dead to comprehend. We had to leave our AO in southern Baghdad and come to Fallujah because there was an area that Marines couldn't control. We were the only Army Infantry unit that area.
