  • I bet he hasnt taken one single look into the original score! I sounds as if he was listening to another `flawed´ interpretation of that piece

  • a couple of adjustments abd this could be some sick ass metal riff

  • so perfectly played, amazing talent

  • um, yeah. this should be played on a classical guitar. It sounds horrible on an electric guitar!

  • its king of mixed with i will survive????

  • Baroque is its own type of music

  • Nice ! Some clean sound !

  • bach is baroque music not classical

  • Baroque is classical music from 1600.

  • @Steelidea no

  • It is an European classical movement of music.

  • @Steelidea not according to my music history textbook

  • amazing ending

  • deixa o cara! viva o pop. e mude de canal.

  • very well

  • I think this is wonderfully arranged as well as wonderfully played. He does a fantastic job, in my opinion.

  • beautiful

  • i like this song... BUT DAMN! this is arrangement is crap

  • put some distortion and it sounds awesome

  • Any1 knows where I can get the tabs from 2:23 - 3:25?? I'm not going to pay for tabs, just to let u know. Help would be appreciated thx in advance.

  • nice playing but i hate the sound its just a load of clicks. this actually sounds really nice distorted + some chorus effect

  • Your video made me dying to hear the other half of the song that you left out when you arranged this. Still, well played, sir.

  • most kids now a days dont know nothing about good music

its al about 50cent and the jonas suckers and that gayass justin bieber

and not to mention lady gaga

this music teaches the kid's nothing

just as the cartoons now a days

it has no educational value wat so ever

    and its sad =(

  • @dudefrombelgium i agree with you, but most cartoons now a days (excluding anime) have probably like 50% less violence then they used to have back some time.

  • @dudefrombelgium Why? Why do other peoples opinions on music make you sad? And People can like whatever music they want, who are you to say todays pop music is bad music? If people like it, it is just as justifiably good as any other music.

  • @Guitareben Not all pop music is bad, i like snoop dog and Aguilera for instance (it has soul) but it are some of the wrong singers and rappers who are being idolized that piss me off Like lady gaga. honestly? what can kids and people learn about a stupid song that you hear everywhere all day long, girl who dances naked in a prison cell whit ducktape on her pussy. ALL DAY LONG? most kids i know listen to 50cent wat is 50cent going to teach us? how to get rich or die trying? its shallow music:)
  • @Guitareben

    i correct myself

the music is not shallow the meanings behind it are :)

  • Great job, better than I could ever be able to play, but maybe you could connect the pieces more, so that it becomes one piece of music...

  • Oh, and... Your Fugue was really amazing, it would make Bach proud!

  • Wow... why does this have so many dislikes when it's clearly one of the best interpretations of this on YouTube?

  • this is cool and beautiful but i prefer an organ of eight tons

  • The ending was great (y)

  • what song is played in the very beginning?

  • @Runner077

the same one he plays throughout the rest of the video..

  • @GrapeVine921 no i meant the introduction before he starts playing

  • @Runner077

oh that> sorry. its probly just some solo he made up

  • bach is GOD!!

  • Wow haunting performance

  • loved it...

  • Brilliant!

  • speechless...

  • wow this vid is amazing

  • i LOVE love love this song, and the way it's played here....

  • 2:33

  • very nice!

  • that was mind blowing. like. 4 hemmingway sucides mindblowing. like, i want to invest in tarps now. thats how officially blown my mind is. if leonard nemoy came to my house to challange me to a knife fight because id apperently unintentionally caught uhura's eye. thats how mind blowing.

  • mind=blown

  • I want to learn the last part :)

  • i've made a tab (guitar pro of this part, tell me if you want it

  • Awesome!

  • @zekew169

How the hell would you know what's good? Your profile says you're 10 years old. You don't even have videos of you playing guitar!

    Piss off.

  • damn you´r awesome at the end, and all the other parts to but the end was amazing.

  • great! 5/5

  • Do want that pedal!

  • harmony makes everything better

  • well played, poorly arranged

  • @snecko

Oh, somebody played Bach's toggata and fugue in D? I didn't notice... ;)

  • @snecko I agree. he didn't really cover the massive chords that the original bach arangement has, and i dont' think they'd be that impossible on guitar.

  • @snecko

I agree... except from 2:43 to 3:24 ... that looper arrange was pure magic. :)

  • kudos there. Do you think it can be done also without a pick? Ive been trying myself, not that piece but classical music, and the strings feel too close for the right hand. But Im intent on doing it the 'pure way' although the elec g was not built for that I think.

  • that was awesome nomatter what blassman and MnogoRaznogo say!!!

  • Absolutely

  • una fuga no es una melodia sola. Les suena la palabra Contrapunto??

  • The last part is stunningly beautiful.

  • not my favorite but u cant hate the talent

  • brill!

  • epic win

  • You're amazing =)

  • Just brilliant.

  • yeah? whats the song in the beginning??

  • this entire piece is called tocatta and fugue.

  • Una noia pazzesca!!!!

  • What is the song in the beginning?

  • It's all parts of the same song Bach's 'Toccata and Fugue'

  • but do you know the name or that version and who did it? im talking about the metal part in the 1st few seconds

  • that is very very goooooood

  • i like the part right over the 2 minutes, when you play several lines at 'ones'. beautiful!

  • More distortion please.

It's great, but I really think it needs more distortion.

  • I want to know how to save a guitar playing like he did on 2:23 ..... I have a G1 effects system, anyone know if it works on there?

  • Im also a metal head into this type of music, its just amazingly composed unlike a Green day or Billy Notalent song. If you can learn an entire song on guitar in 5-10 minutes, then its no fun lol.

  • I agree with PsychoFOAL I as a metalhead enjoy this kind of music as well as metal. This is the kind of music people should listen to more often not like that hogshit disney pop.

  • i am with you on that one

  • nicely said

  • @gild925 or hip hop...

  • @gild925 it's ironic that you mention disney, since one of my favorite renditions of this song was in Fantasia. Oh, and look at them now... :(

  • @gild925 Amen man,

I'm also a metalhead but i love this music and traditional folk. It's what metal originates from. particularly from this song

  • @gild925

ironically this was used as the first piece in the disney film Fantasia. small world.

  • @gild925 To tell you guys go watch about enjoying classical music as a metal head , go watch a movie called (metal a head banger journey) they found that the roots of metal starts with classical music when they started to add high bass in them :)

  • @gild925 not sure I would call it Disney Pop, as this was a feature from Fantasia, IIRC.

  • seems good :)

  • bravo!

  • i play this better than him -.-

but still, he is good :)

  • please upload then!

  • I bet. And we all DO see that from your uploaded videos.

  • at 245 I was about to cum myself

  • Not too bad, Check out Bob Culbertson play it on the chapman stick, much more accurate!

  • it's not the accuracy

it's just nice to see that he just played it like he wanted, and not how it's supposed to be played

    i love it

  • Well yeah, I mean if he completely butchers it than that's another story lol, but he pulled it off quite well can't stop watching it haha, keep it up man

  • lol for the first two minutes the guy is like "fuck me this sucks" then he remembers that he still has the fugue and thus a chance to redeem himself

  • honestly...based out of observation...anyone that likes metal and appreciates badassness on a guitar is going to love this...anyone who hates metal and thinks guitar solos are noise and would rather go listen to jonas brothers is going to hate this. then you have the people stuck in the grey area who just had a bad day that dont like this...but honestly Yngwei would have raped this but the guy did a good job nonetheless

  • I think you're comment makes the most sense on the difference in opinions of this vid and why they were there. I'm a metal player and lover and love this, and my gf cant finish watching the video lol.

  • good job, but it sounds in to high a key

  • good job bud. those guys who comment bad are just jelous.

  • esta bien bacana esta tavuel!!

  • Fuck bach purists. The guy's done a real great job. Bach would jump out of his grave with joy if he could hear this kid.

  • Excellent tone!

    Good job

  • Thank's for this song =) can you send me the adress for the tab please thank's bye and congratulation.

  • i really like that you taking a different approach to Bach and classical music bringing it to a younger generation. Keep it up!

  • lmao

  • la musica classica è terribile?,,,,,,tu sei terribile

  • I didn't say classical music is terrible, in fact, I said it was awesome....but this rendition is very boring, as is MOST classical music on solo guitar. Simply boring. Next time you throw an insult at least make it SOUND intelligent.

  • From 2:22 onwards you can see how Ritchie Blackmore was influenced by Bach. By the way you rock mate!

  • you are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol i tap 0:52-1:00 and pick 1:35 to 1:46

  • At least he can play it mate.

  • he's playing his own arrangement... technically he's not playing "it".

  • shit man. the last part wuz AMAZING!!! how did u do it???

  • with a loop station or similar I think

  • how with someone get one???

and how much would that run me???

  • loop stations are pedals you use like distorsion or overdrive.

The boss rc20 is not bad but if you want to save some money I suggest you the "Akai head rush" (It's about 180)

(It isn't spam, only speech between musicians)

  • classic music rocks!

  • lats part is beautiful

  • es la ostia, llevo viendo este video como 3 años y cada ez me mola mas laparte del final, no la consigo tocar totalmente con la repetidora

  • this is by far one of the best classical pieces ive heard

  • with a little distortion It would sound excellently, but it was fabulous

  • distortion would muddy up the wound way to much and make it sound like poop. a roland organ synth would sound amazing though

  • sound*

  • REALLY GOOD !!!

  • Check out MattRach, I don't know if he's 20 by now. But i know he plays on awesome guitar, owns el.drums, bass, ac.guit, and el.,acustic. Effect that propably hasn't cost few bugs, not to mention he's PC audio card. All this he bought from the profit of selling hes songs.... He has put them here when he was 17,18. I'm now 21 all i've ever done, is a punk/rock song (easy). He writes it all on his own, bass drums, guit, improvises as God himself. How come it's not me ?? XD Check him out worth ;]

  • Well, choosing, between being a gutaris and getting yourself well educated, is shitty. Gaining qualification gives you to time, to work, socialise, have other hobbys and you more likely to get a job. Being a musician is practising, living under your parents roof unless you become really good, and it turns out that you actually do smth people want to buy, but what if not ?? Even after a music school you option is to become a music-teacher and be paid shiityy or yo play for half-free

  • Damm i think i could be somewhere around this guy if i only started going to music school whille making first steps on the guitar 5 years ago. Another thing, give me back my time so i can practise more you damm schools !! xD I don't get it. I don't believe in such thing as talent, and i see the differecne between me and my m8, we both playing aproximetely the for 5 years, so what i do believe in is practising, but how do you people do that, in 21st cenury ? I

  • Nice quality, great, calm, warm, jazzy piece. It really got to my head, eventhough the only thing i used to except from jazz were trumpet or simlar stuff solos in punk/rock songs. What does it means ?? Am i getting old ? I tried to improvise to Garbarek's pieces recently too bad i ain't got electric guitar anymore. And btw i can tell by the sound your not using the cheapest effect there.;) I wish i could have that and your skill of picking that fast starying that clean at the time

  • you are amazing! cool...

  • Such a warm tone. What guitar/pickups/amp are you using?

  • guitar looks like a John Petrucci Music Man model w/o piezo. Look up specs on their site.

  • Actually, it's an OLP Petrucci :)

  • I knew it, it looked like a JP!

  • hmm... it should sound great in a good accoustic guittar

  • it doesnt sound exactly like bach's play..

    btw, still freaking awesome =D

  • What's the song in the beginning/intro of the video?

  • it would sound alot better with distortion.

  • amazing!!!!

  • fajnie :)

  • the last part is badass!!

  • oh bad version :(

  • I must learn how to play that

  • same

  • Tabs?

  • omg....this is amazing...

  • really nice :D

  • Does anyone know the name of the song played on the intro to this video?

  • You rock!

  • bad cover, dont sound anithing like Bachs T&F

  • Amazing!

  • Some very nice parts.

To bad he can't play the fugue subject and answer. Very creative. Nice job.

  • 1,2,3,4, nice but keep in time , all over the place.

  • Brilliant

  • this guy is talented but is killing bachs piece.

  • it was supposed to be played on low tempo 76-90max!

  • whats the effect he uses in the last minute or so called????

  • hes useing an 'Akai Headrush sampler pedel' it says in the info.

  • OHH crap i didnt see that hah!

  • lol :)

  • why bother learning real pieces when you can do much easier updated interpretations of them.

    terrible.

  • Try doing one treble cleff and two bass cleffs on such a thin neck electric guitar. He didn't update it, he just physicaly doesn't have enough space or fingers for that matter.

  • Very good !

  • Noice :}

    Very subtle.

  • ehhh. its okay. and yes, it does sound like zoro music. lol
