@bilancio Not even good info, either. Here's why: he said the NBC Peacock took on a more abstract look from the original in 1956 in 1962...incorrect! The original Peacock was the same style & logo introduced in 1956, except for different animation used in 1962. The version he used was CREATED in 1979, then morphed into the "Proud N" in the same year, not in 1980 as he claims! Epic fail.

If you Google for images of the McDonald's at 2434 Almaden Road in San Jose, California, you can see one of the last remaining stands of the old design featuring the double golden arches, which inspired the logo. When they wanted to update this restaurant, they did it by adding a new section to the back, not by demolishing it and rebuilding as they did nearly everywhere else.

The narrator has an okay voice, though he's pretty obviously gay. He also should at least read through the text before he's recorded. It's only fair: the animators obviously put a lot of time into THEIR part. Soemthing tells me the narrator didnt even write the text himself.
