I found Aether to b really handy wen grabbing the smash ball. not only does it do good dammage to it (like alot of other attacks) it also gets a hell alot of hight and knocks others out of the way, and since u cant flinch, u can Great Ether anyone around u on landing

Actually he does wear what seems to be hardened leather(probably 'cuir boulli') on the left side of his chest with 'kohire' of sorts on his left shoulder. (kohire is said ko-hee-ray, the 'r' ever so slightly rolled)

So have I, and I completely agree with you, Ike's not slow, but he's not extremely fast either, but his range and badass knockback more than make up for it.

No. Ike is about the slowest character in the game. You can't tell from gameplay videos, but Ike is slow. Just because he's not slow in the games doesn't mean he's not slow here. The main thing with Ike is range and power. He also has a lot of no flinch frames. He has to be slow to make up for it.

Hah ha, Ike is awesome. I plan on maining him when Brawl comes out. I've seen his moveset before, but your's was the best due to the close-up camera and the detail of every little move. Thanks, now I've come up with a few strategies.

You can check out my Ike movement demo video :P But really, Ike is only as slow as you make him...Use of quick draw helps mobility, you can take advantage of some of his less laggy attacks, and various other little tricks to help speed up Ike.

How do you do the repeated jabs?

Repeated jabs occur when you hold down the A button while hitting nothing. As soon as you start to hit something, Ike will continue into his stand three hit combo.
