You know, I got this album when it came out and slept on it a little... but last night I played it and realized how good it is. You can definitely say that Lost Boyz had their own style.
This was after Freaky Tah died, always down with LB since the first I heard Renee, Beast from the East, Tight situations, Music makes me high. They spiitin' like they high on weed but its the music that's makin' 'em high. R. I .P Freaky peace.
As a very selective person; i grab the Hottest Underground HipHop from the crates, i play them and do momentarily fulfil me, but after a few plays, they bore me. If you asked me: out of all the hip hop i've herd in 15 or 20 years. this one song rite here will be it.. and i herd a lot of muthafkin music... can't hold us down.. no bling bling, no barbie fake hoes, no acting or faking them voices to sound or look hard, no am better than you bs, this boyz are really from the hood, all naturally.
@mrbigjt yeeaaa.. hes top 10 the same way guru and devin the dude are top 10....lil wayne is a joke he thinks hes so clever cuz he comes up with some gay fuckin metaphors....wtf....anyone can sit down for a day n come up with that shit...people dont listen to rap for metaphors...they listen to rap to actually FEEL it......cheeks is constant flow and spits real shit, u can tell its exactly what he thinks, nothin fake bout it! LB 4 LIFE
@jjjhs08 , having lyrical skills has been a big part of hip hop since rakim my man so you can't direspect metaphors & all that & lil wayne has no clever metaphors to begin with he only has forced punchlines that don't work LOL
