i just finished learning this! that was amazing, thanks for uploading! i just didnt really understand the part where F, G, and D# notes come together; it doesnt seem to make sense playing that bit. but excellent video!
Thanks so much for this--just got myself a piano, looking to learn my first song and find this! Keep it up, I'm glad to see you have plenty of vids :)
@ecreezie It's called Synthesia. Just search google for "Synthesia Download" and download and set the program up. It can connect to an electric keyboard via an MIDI lead so you can create your own MIDI files
Hey bro , i got a question i downloaded Synthesia , well that program you're uploading vids ( like this one ) and i got a question , can i download like a song and like slow down the tempo to learn it better ?!? THX!
You'll need a screencasting software. Windows has stuff like Hypercam. Since I'm on a Mac, I have things available like ScreenFlow, Screenium, and iShowU.
And as long as the song you download is in midi/.mid format, you can slow the tempo all you want. See the little 100% next to the multiplier? You can raise or lower that with the arrow keys.
i second this!! i have no idea where to find this file, but when you do upload. i'll be watching. You could make a channel out of just doing these tutorials out of NIN songs especially ghosts!
Believe me, if I had the midi files for those songs I would do it in an instant. Right Where it Belongs is one of my favorites. If anyone could point me to a site that has some of NIN's more recent stuff like And All That Could Have Been, Ghosts, RWIB, etc. I would be a very happy cat.
I'm sitting at my piano right now getting the frail out. I'm gonna learn some NIN songs to perform at our schools music festival. Should be wicked. Are you in need of the midi files to create these tutorials? I'll have a look
Yeah, basically. Though, it also helps to have a program that lets to change the midi instruments ("voices") to piano. If you're like me and you don't have any clue how to edit midi files, you'll find that most files you'll come across have too much going on in them or make it so that they're impossible to play with two hands. If that weren't the case I'll probably upload A Perfect Drug on here too.
Can you upload more nine inch nails on piano?

Also, I don't play piano, and I have no fucking idea how people can play this instrument. It looks impossibly hard.
