  • Awesome!

  • I can't find this midi file anywhere but I want to play it in Synthesia ToT

  • you got the sheet music to this?

  • Thanks for posting this I learned it so easily. Can you do any off the Ghosts album? 36 ghosts please.

  • i just finished learning this! that was amazing, thanks for uploading! i just didnt really understand the part where F, G, and D# notes come together; it doesnt seem to make sense playing that bit. but excellent video!

  • @verasakete I came across the same thing. Is there a substitution for that part?

  • Where did you find the MIDI file for "The Frail"? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks.

  • Thanks so much for this--just got myself a piano, looking to learn my first song and find this! Keep it up, I'm glad to see you have plenty of vids :)

  • awesome! thanks for the upload!! i'm gonna bog the server down trying to learn this!

  • How do you have it playing in Synthesia without a midi file?

I agree people should post better midi files with Synthesia.

  • wow!!!!! awesome! thank you for turning a depressed night around!

  • Yes, you should definitely upload more NIN !!!!!!

'Home', 'The Wretched' , 'The Downward Spiral'......

  • if you have the midi file or piano sheet music of this could you upload it or post a link

  • Also, I don't play piano, and I have no fucking idea how people can play this instrument. It looks impossibly hard.

  • @travz21 I'm mangling my hands right now playing a warm place.

  • Trent is a genius. I could listen to this piece the rest of my life.

  • brilliant software for this kind of tutorials , thx for the uploads (not so challenging for an absolute pitcher like myself but thx anyway)

  • What IS this program I see on YouTube for these piano tutorials?????

  • @jlcarpenter77 You're not looking very hard. Read the comments.

  • @Xalmr yes. I get that. I saw it after I sent you the message. Thanks for the rude reply though...

  • @jlcarpenter77 Sorry bro, I just get comments like that all the time. People don't bother to look around themselves.

  • What software is this? And where can I get it?

  • @ecreezie It's called Synthesia. Just search google for "Synthesia Download" and download and set the program up. It can connect to an electric keyboard via an MIDI lead so you can create your own MIDI files

  • As you have taken the

Auf Deutsch: Wie hast du das aufgenommen?

    (Powerd by Google Translator)

  • Hey bro , i got a question i downloaded Synthesia , well that program you're uploading vids ( like this one ) and i got a question , can i download like a song and like slow down the tempo to learn it better ?!? THX!

  • You'll need a screencasting software. Windows has stuff like Hypercam. Since I'm on a Mac, I have things available like ScreenFlow, Screenium, and iShowU.

And as long as the song you download is in midi/.mid format, you can slow the tempo all you want. See the little 100% next to the multiplier? You can raise or lower that with the arrow keys.

  • 1. this looks like guitar hero for keyboards! (i don't play GH nor keyboard :()

    2. looks great

    3. i don't understand much of it

    4. hey, i love nin

    5. this is really awesome! :)

  • can i get the link for the midi file?

  • Thanks for this!!! Any chance you could do one for "Right Where it Belongs" by NIN?

  • If you find the midi file I can.

  • i second this!! i have no idea where to find this file, but when you do upload. i'll be watching. You could make a channel out of just doing these tutorials out of NIN songs especially ghosts!

  • Believe me, if I had the midi files for those songs I would do it in an instant. Right Where it Belongs is one of my favorites. If anyone could point me to a site that has some of NIN's more recent stuff like And All That Could Have Been, Ghosts, RWIB, etc. I would be a very happy cat.

  • If you want a Tutorial for "Right Where it Belongs", just check out my Videos!

  • Thanks a lot for this. I use synthesia too but I couldn't find the midi file for this anywhere

  • I'm sitting at my piano right now getting the frail out. I'm gonna learn some NIN songs to perform at our schools music festival. Should be wicked. Are you in need of the midi files to create these tutorials? I'll have a look

  • Yeah, basically. Though, it also helps to have a program that lets to change the midi instruments ("voices") to piano. If you're like me and you don't have any clue how to edit midi files, you'll find that most files you'll come across have too much going on in them or make it so that they're impossible to play with two hands. If that weren't the case I'll probably upload A Perfect Drug on here too.

  • Wow! Great piano tutorials! What is the program's name what you make this video?

  • Synthesia. iShowU for recording.
