Coren is a hostile host! Toward Payton, that is. Payton is right about Witt being Catholic, and Coren's "correction" is just misleading; one can be of Jewish ethnicity and follow another religion.

Why doesn't he just press the point that the argument is that there is no argument for God? That is all that is necessary to believe a negative. Until you present a valid argument for God, then there is no reason to believe in God. Done. Debate won.

@PainefulMass he actually starts out with that position...he says something to the point of I don't accept god's existence because I have yet to encounter an argument for his existence that makes sense. he should have stopped right there and sacrificed his remaining time and let WLC hang himself.

See, this is why I dont watch this guy's show. The host asked WLC all those questions, he let him talk, he nodded and smiled, then they went to commercial and then he turned to Michael.

Then he asked michael a very broad and poorly worded question, and he wont even let michaeel answer before he interjects with reasons why that answer isn't valid or comes up with his own counter-answer to it. Michael payton has yet to actually verbalize a complete thought without interruption.

Impartial my ass.

Interesting that the host seems to know what's going through a chimpanzee's mind when it's batting at another chimpanzee's testicles. It seems a far greater leap of logic that the chimp is thinking "I must stop you from reproducing" than "I know bag tag really really hurts, because I've had mine smacked before, so here goes".
