  • Real guys dont look at explosions...crying is okay though

  • @Chudakov77 clannad is another good romance/ drama if you haven't seen it. Bring lots of tissue though.

  • crying? who me? NO NO NOOOOO!! im not crying, my face sprung a leak...........

  • try watching this in a room full of females..FUCK

  • holy shit!!! that is heartbreaking. poor taiga sounded like a little kid

  • Toradora is actually very realistic and most of the things that happen in the anime is a real possibility that could happen in rl which is what makes it so great. You can relate to it more than you can other animes in this genre. long live toradora!

  • Minorin disliked this video

  • No matter how hard I tried to keep myself together, I can't help but shed tears. Toradora is truly a masterpiece T_T.

  • @420bluntsmokerxXx Hrmm, and what do you think is a good drama? Compared to this.

  • An Amazing scene. Not as painful as the ending in visual novel Kana: Little Sister, that novel just took my tough manliness and obliterated it. I never thought it was possible to feel so much pain for fictional characters. But this scene is still amazing and very touching.

  • I wish they had a second season of this.

  • is this seriously what weebs think is good drama?

  • @420bluntsmokerxXx nice name faggit

  • @420bluntsmokerxXx no this is what the web knows is a good drama.

  • @420bluntsmokerxXx Its not a good drama, its a goddamn godly one.

  • @daniellcl49bm

    >godly drama

    >twilight level emotional range

    no.

  • theres no need to cry here *crying* oh shit

  • don't cry.... don't fucking cry.... donf fuck- no!!NO!!

  • The best part is whent they played that christmas song right after ryuuji got rejected. my face was like 0_0

  • I'm not against Ryuuji x Taiga, but I have to imagine what it would be like if Taiga never ran out crying, in which Minori never saw her. Imagine that and make an outcome.

  • Wonderful and sad ç_ç I love it

  • would anyone happen to know what the music is called :)

  • @99mokey

The song is called "Lost my Pieces" It's an OST(Original Soundtrack) made for ToraDora!

Just search it up and you can find it!

  • I want a love like this...

  • @eragon1730 tell me about it!!

  • @eragon1730 totally.

  • The second i watched this, i wrote a guitar riff to a song i´m gonna use later on! :D

  • Not as sad as Fry's dog.

  • once again, of course Minori has to be right there..lol -_-

  • nothing even comes close

  • I got a little teary during this scene, but for the most part it made me smile; she finally realized what she wanted.

  • i feel sadder for minorin cus in the end, minorin gets noone =P

  • huh? ...why... oh, i see. =' c

  • i cried

  • aye, this left me numb for 2 days...still remember after these 3 years..

  • Man, even the second time seeing this scene, I almost cried ;~;

  • Damn. I have never watched Toradora, ever. Not in one point in time. But I immediately knew the story the second her look of sadness touched her face. I cried. This was so touching...

  • the moment when taiga says "i dont want that" and the look in her face was so powerfull i never saw so much pain because of love in the eyes of an actor or anybody else but at this moment i realy could feel her pain that was such a heartbreaking moment

  • i should not cry because iam a man.no cry. no cry.

    ahhhhhh god damnit

  • @MrShakespier121 You're no man if you didn't cry! c:

  • @MrShakespier121 There's nothing "not manly" about shedding manly tears.

  • @MrShakespier121 True men, cry with their head held high.

  • I wont say I cried cause that would be a lie, but this scene honestly breaks my heart every time I watch it. How can I feel this way about fictional characters???

That just how incredible, heartwarming, sad and amazing this series is.

  • Yep, this is why this is near the end of the series when you have time to get attached to the characters.

  • I cried again. D:

  • this series made me cryyyy soooo much! i love ittt <3

  • idk why they didnt continue this anime :< i love this scene, the pool scene and in the mountain where ryuuji carried taiga .

imo this is the best romance anime!

  • i just notice taiga has a kinda accent. she talks different than most of the other characters when they speak japanese.

  • why need to cry?its only anime

    DUH!

  • @123walangmagawa Maan! That's sad. Like any powerful story, this one evokes strong feelings and identification for the characters. Their outcome in the story, the feelings they express and the actions they take all make a connection to the viewer. To watch such a story without this connection is a meaningless exercise. By the different comments here, it is clear that Toradora is able to inspire strong connections in its viewers. Of course I cried . . . a lot.

  • Every time i watch this scene i cry for Taiga, Ryuji, and Minori because Minori and loves Ryuji but has to bear the fact that her best friend loves and needs the same man yet she only want's him, Taiga because from the start she thought that Ryuji could never be with her. I love all the characters in ToraDora!!! I love this anime so much and all the characters, I dont know why but they feel like my children, I cant bear to see them hurt. Like TheCrazyTom said... I was crying... Inside

  • @GIVEANGPAU At least this anime has a happy ending, watch School Day's to see just how easily the whole Love Triangle can get out of hand

  • @jackie901 I've watched that anime before and i know how messed up a love triangle can be, belive me. i've experienced it firsthand ,thanks for the reply, you seem like a nice guy

  • @jackie901

    School days = mindrape.

  • What kind of insensitive prick clicked the dislike button????? >.>

  • ; _ ;

  • That music always gets me

  • i'm sorry i diddnt cry but i'm just not that kind of person i;m not crying in my eyes but rather i am crying tears in my heart <3

  • This truely was one of the best scenes in the anime, the last few episodes truely were one of the most emotional part of anime I have seen till this day, I have no regrets whatsoever watching this.

  • What crazy person gave this a thumbs down????? What kind of anime fan or even Toradora fan could do that? If you don't like the series then don't click video clips from it. >.>

  • Amazing anime but I want more.:(

  • Sometime i wish my life had that kind of drama that is in Toradora, even if it hurt or make me cry.that'll just mean i'm living my life to the fullest, but nooo,my life is so dull and boring

  • I cry every time... ; ^ ;

  • Wow..... I haven't even watched the anime and I cried T^T

  • 1:55 bad drawings

  • Idk I want to watch this show but sometimes I can't handle drama anime. Don't get me wrong I do own Clannad, Clannad AS,Air,Kanon 2006, and some others and I love them, but every time I watch an anime like this I end up crying like a baby every 10 min. I don't know why I just can't help it. I have seen a few ep's of Toradora! but that's about it.

  • Everytime I see this scene, at the point she says ".....want that." for some reason a shiver goes down my spine....

  • FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ANIME EVER.

  • Toradora is by far my favorite anime. It doesn't make me cry. Instead, it puts a smile on my face so big that it hurts while putting a storm of butterflies in my chest so much that it makes me want to cough. I don't cry with animes like this. When I cry, it's because I've experienced something emotionally tragic that shatters every meaning of my hopes and dreams. No, something beautiful like Toradora doesn't do that. It's one of the most beautiful animes I've ever seen.

  • It's the middle of summer break. A friend asks for anime recommendations, and I recommend this. It reminds me of all the scenes and everything else. So what do I do? I go back on youtube and I re-watch a bunch of episodes which brought me to ep 19. It's 4 am and the tears won't stop. The first time I saw this scene and cried my eyes out was holiday/winter break right around christmas time, right around 4 am. I remember why Toradora is my favorite anime of all time.

  • Really great anime =D

  • clannad (+ as) and toradora are my two favs anime

  • imagine if ryuuji was standing there

  • stop at 1:52 and look at suggestions at the right side.: toradora! Ost - Lost my Pieces

  • One of my favourite parts. Taiga and Ryuuji are so cute together~

  • i love how minorin just standing there and T_T WTH!!! while this vid is playing one of my neighbors playing Broken vow song

  • I was crying so much T^T i miss this anime >.<

  • I was bawling from 1:42 and couldn't stop crying for like 20 minutes... This scene is sadder than clannad. And I still don't get why people say it has a happy ending, it has a horrible ending....So....sad..... *sniffle* *sniffle* ;w ; WHYY!! TTwTT

  • @WolfWithSheepSkin look, it does have a happy ending, i advise u to watch until the very last second after the credits, taiga comes back. if there are other people like u ,please tell them also, so everyone can see this ending

  • @WolfWithSheepSkin Did you not watch the whole last episode, even after credits?

  • Lol jusdging by the comments the only cryers are men XP

No, i cried to. This comes in my top 10-sad moments. Like

    1. Britain and US torn apart(axispowershetalia)

    2. This

    3. Russia goes mad

    4. Elfwn lied ending(dont like it, cause it makes me cry)

  • @TheChangeling2000 this, didn't make me cry really because this is the moment, that makes or breaks people. The moment right before they make the most important choice in their life. Their defining moment, the chance that everyone gets but not many take. This is the moment that allows that to happen, the time when they realize what their one true desire is, the one thing that can possibly make them happy.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheChangeling2000 gawd i cryd so much at elfenlied OMG. so much. and toradora i cryed too T.T

  • best anime scene i've ever seen.

  • Screw you Toradora and your evil ways of making manly men cry.

  • this scene would be great if it didn't go all blurry part way through

  • Aww... Poor Aisaka San..... TT_TT

  • Damn this scene gets me every time I've watched it over and over but it still hits hard

  • this made me cry i love the anime and the characters

  • this scene breaks my heart

  • My heart breaks every time i see this :(

  • Fucking soulcrushing...

  • i bet this voice actor (I forget the name) is used to saying Ryuugi all the time noe cuz she says it in this anime and the new anime Dragon Crisis! nonstop XD

  • @Ishmon19 yeps and Kugimiya, Rie also voices shana who constatly says Yuuji, so its close enough, im soo used to her saying that name that when i watch ZnT and she says Saito im just like eh?

  • @AddzSapphire lawl

  • I kind of lost interest in Toradora after watching a 3D Hentai Game in which Ryuugi is fucking Taiga mad hard. No joke.

  • @bigbrown4114493 that's why I avoid any stuff like that that has Toradora! in it's name...I would not let anything ruin the awesomeness of this anime...

  • @bigbrown4114493 Wait...what?

  • @HasraX just as I said. I saw some Toradora porn and was instantly scarred. This anime is pretty much over for me.

  • I honest didnt think that this scene would be so freaking sad, but when she started crying I did too.

It's also gotta suck to see your best friend outside crying about someone she loves but cant have quite yet.

  • That was the scene i searched for a long time! totally powerful when taiga races out the building and starts to crie after ryu. Damn: THAT SEIYU OF TAIGAS ROLE NEED AN OSCAR FOR THAT!!!

  • @TheMightyGosh Well she more or less got it. Rie Kugimiya (voice of Taiga, Shakugan no Shana, Louise from Zero no Tsukaima and Alphonse Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist) won a "Best Actress" Seiyuu Award for her role as Taiga. ^^

  • @Wurzelknecht

Kinners, das hat sie auch verdient!

  • @TheMightyGosh Ich sollte vielleicht öfter mal nachgucken ob die Leute denen ich antworte auch Deutsche sind, statt gleich aus Gewohnheit auf Englisch zu posten XD

  • Damn, I didn't cry, but hell this scene is powerful.

...Well, I was crying. Inside. A lot.

Even after finishing Toradora, my mind is still crying.

  • @TheCrazyTom

my mind is handing you a tissue

  • @TheCrazyTom Same here Q_Q

  • what episode?

  • If this didn't make you cry, that means you didn't form any sort of emotional attachment to the characters or the story, which means you didn't like the romantic aspect of the anime, or possibly didn't even like the rest of the anime, either.

If that's the case, why are you wasting time posting about it?

Vids like this are for the fans, not the haters. :P

  • @smashbrolink

I didn't cry when i watched but i loved the anime

  • @smashbrolink I just saw this for the first time now :( didnt make me cry, but it was sad i think i am gonna watch the anime now since i dont know nothing bout the char :o

  • @Stream993 you'll love the anime and you'll return to watch this after u watched the anime i can guarantee it

  • @MrPaultime I finished the anime. It's rly gr8 i loved it, ofc it could have had a better ending, wouldnt you agree? X)

  • @smashbrolink Well, i didnt cry but i like the anime and the story o.o

  • @smashbrolink When I saw this scene... omg I didn't cry at all. But inside of me there was such a feeling of sadness and pain, it was unbelievable, and because of this there was also a strong will of crying my soul out.

  • @smashbrolink how about when u didn't cry but u were touched, does that count?

  • @PlayFishy123 I suppose so, yeah.XD

  • @smashbrolink I didn't physically cry, however, I struggle to cry at any time at all, it touched me incredibly and gave a great feeling of sadness and connection to Taiga. I guess I shed a tear many times watching this, if that counts, but honestly, this is the most touching and beautiful anime I have ever witnessed!

I also can declare myself a true fan! :') ~*

  • @smashbrolink I never actually Cry but I get sad at moments like these. and when a show ends i always get sad cas i dont want it to end. does that count?

  • @dewdropnighttwinkle If it makes you feel like crying, then that's good enough.

  • @smashbrolink

Good sir, you could not be more incorrect.

I absolutely loved this anime, and I would rewatch it(if I did not hate rewatching things). The characters have a lot of depth to them, and the emotions they exert are stunningly captivating.

BUT, just because all of that is true does not mean that it is sad enough to make every fan cry.

I have watched/read much more depressing anime/manga. This scene was not powerful/sad enough to make my eyes water, sadly enough. Great scene still.

  • @lafouboy2 I was speaking mainly to the haters of the series. Fans are obviously exempt.XD

  • @smashbrolink

If you only were targeting haters of the series, then your comment was kind of redundant... Of course they did not connect with the characters, if they did, they would not hate the series.

  • @lafouboy2 Well, label me master of the obvious, I guess. I just felt that the obvious needed pointing out.XD

  • @smashbrolink I've cried for this scene so many times! Now I just cry on the inside! this scene still makes me feel sad inside! its so powerful!

  • What episode is this?

  • @MimitchiTamaTalk Episode 19, the end of the Christmas 3 parter. Definitely a powerful scene

  • :29 :D

  • You people crying makes me feel emotionless. asdfadsadsa

  • @Shonbi I know right. I didn't cry either. I was kind of like. "okay.."

  • @Shonbi Don't worry I didn't cry either although I always flinch at Taiga's heartwrenching scream. If you want to test if you're emotionless watch "Clannad" and the second season "Clannad After Story". If you make it through those two without shedding a single tear (more like bawling your eyes out) then you're officially a robot XD

  • if you want something to cry about watch kanon (2006)

  • Love is so powerful....

  • I can't stop crying every time I watch this, it's so sad and this scene pretty much completes toradora making it one of the best anime of all time. and i'm a guy for gods sakes!

  • i can never get tired of this scene

i keep replaying it over and over

  • sooooooo sad when she says "Iya Nanda.."

man, i love this bgm =]

  • why would she chase after Ryuuji... :(

  • That's it! I'm watching the anime!!! :'D

  • Best scene ever. The scene came out just perfectly, it was really emotional.

  • that was one insane run though

  • I couldn't stop the tears... even now, it's so upsetting... <3

  • i love the sound effect at the end.. <#

  • best scene imo

  • for some reson this is like my favorite part of the series

  • Toradora is really a great show. Top of my list. :)

  • its so cute this my fave part she looks like a little girl crying for her dad going to the miltary knowing something bad will happen srry i just love thinkin other things...

  • In my opinion.....this anime was too short....and a bit too focused on the main/hidden couple......they introduce a possible couple near to the end of the show.....then they just drop it and never develop anything out of it.....

Also, they screwed up the ending....but for the sake of any who haven't seen it....I won't tell you why....

  • Anyone else think that this is made by the same ppl who made Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima?

    They're almost identical.....

  • @Ishimaru20 funny you should say that. the artist for all 3 shows is the same guy :]

  • This is the third anime I've watched where the the main couple is a girl with no bust and a short temper.....and a guy who's strange and misunderstood at first but grows to be a great character by the middle of the show....

The other two were Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima....

wish those other two would wrap up their stories.....

  • I hate Taiga, with a passion. But this scene makes me really feel sympathy for her; that's powerful.

  • It's letting the person go that hurts. Actually, Minori already likes Ryuuji from the beginning, but she gave up because of Taiga, whom she knew that Taiga already grew feelings for him.

  • starting to think this anime is made by the same person who made "zero no tsukaima"

  • this is so sad T-T

  • Man This was a powerful scene!

    *clapping*

  • This is what makes Toradora a great anime: the intertwining feelings. The factors that led to the toppling of the tower are these: Taiga's increasing reliance on Ryuji; Minorin's relationship with Ryuji; and Minorin's care for Taiga. Throughout the series, Taiga depends more and more on Ryuji, thus building a relationship "behind the curtains". This scene is where Ta-Da! it is revealed. Minorin has grown a good relationship with Ryuji, talking about "Stars" and "Ufos".

  • When she dumped him, she used the terminology that can only be understood between her and Ryuji, hinting her want to be with Ryuji. Minorin's care for Taiga got in the way of this relationship. The guilt she had accumulated for "stealing" Ryuji reached its acme here. Personally, I feel sorry for Minorin, being the collector of guilt...

  • what episode is this?

  • @AnimeAngel5000

    Episode 19

  • Rie Kugimiya(Taiga's voice actor) is a freaking master of this type of character, after all we're talking about the woman that gave her voice to Louise(Zero no Tsukaima) and Shana(Shakugan no Shana) but of all of their roles i find Taiga the most well done xD

  • that's why she won an award with taiga

  • Really o.O!? di you know the name of the award xD? i want to check xD!

  • She won Best Actress in the third seiyu awards for the role of Taiga Aisaka in Toradora!.

  • ahh this is my favourite part...

always wanted the possibility that taiga and ryuuji might get together

  • cuz of this i wish my life was like an anime T-T

  • Life in anime is pretty hard... there's lots of drama, hardships, and there will be lots of crying.

And if your life was like School Days or Higuarashi... oh man.

  • Oh god I don't even want to imagine life being like those two. Honestly though I found School Days to be slightly more disturbing than Higurashi. I think because after awhile I just accepted Higurashi for what it was but I can never seem to accept School Days.

  • @chapcoka well in Higurashi it was totally normal that these girls were crazy (they had to do it for the town, after all.) However, School Days is quite disturbing knowing that people toy with each other in that way every day, but the ending doesn't happen so often. And you have to sit and think, if you were to ever live the life of Makoto...

    You see?

  • Yeah I see =D

  • @IzyTheNinjaJedi

Oh My O_O.....if ur life was like School Days then....GOD HELP THAT PERSON!!! lol XD

I never saw Higuarashi but I'm not planning to school days scared me -.-

  • @IzyTheNinjaJedi don't get me started on school days. shit............

  • Why wasn't I drawn into a damn anime? WHY DID GOD MAKE ME HUMAN, LIFE IS BORING, ANIME IS NOT.

  • Comment removed

  • omg not another love triangle O.o WHY DOES EVERYTHING I WATCH HAVE A LOVE TRIANGLE!!!!!!!!!!!! NO NO NO WHY DOES EVERYTHING I WATCH HAVE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anime always have love...well most of them
