@bgamelson Alternate Wail is used for storm warnings other than Tornadoes, so I guess a Severe Thunderstorm was issued near Livonia at the time. This particular siren has only used Alternate Wail, and no other tones.

the only time i ever saw a wall cloud was when my dad (a police chief & emergency manager, its solely up to him to make the decision to sound the sirens) was goin into work cuz the bad weather. he pointd to the back of our pasture & said if theres gonna b a tornado it will drop from that cloud. l8r it blew our porch & roof off, & a crosstie was rammed into our wall. blew down tons of trees, knockd the connection off of our butane tank it was spewing gas while still lighting
