im looking at getting a boat and have a few in mind, any suggestions on what to get?

Anyone know what length rope most riders ride? i'm pulled by a 60' rope, but can't seem to get out enough to get a good progressive edge up to the wake. i can't get wake to wake, no matter how good of an edge i get. just wonderin if anyone knows what the best rope length is.

at least 70'. but if youre struggling to get wake to wake with a 60' rope its not the rope. learn to pop kid

i know how to pop, thats not the problem. the problem is i cant cut out far enough to get enough speed toward the wake when i'm coming in. Thanks though, i'm gonna give 70' a shot.

70 should also throw u higher its a steeper part of the wake and try speeding the boat up

yeh i ride at 80' and ride at 23.5 mph. wakes perfect back there. but can depend on yourboat

crestliner 1850 with a 150 outboard on it. :/ sucks big time for wakeboarding. buyin an extended pylon for it next year, hopefully it helps. maybe a fat sac....or four. haha

if ur wakes small then use a shorter rope until u can get wake to wake the get longer

@killuinstyle yeah cos our prostar and a friend's prostar have best wake at around 20! anymore and it flattens a bit!

the problem is not the length of rope. get the speed of the boat right so the wake is shaped good. learn how to pop. go balls to the wall every time and stand tall. you should learn to get wake to wake at about 60. the wake gets wider farther behind the boat. this means that if you use a longer rope you will have to jump farther.

65 or 70 really it sounds like u just need a stronger cut all the way through the wake if u slow down at all u wont make it and pop off the wake also try cutting out further on ur toes b4 u cut back in 2 make the jump
