Do you have any tips on pirouttes? You're really good. I'm the around the same age as you, but I'm still struggling with getting a single and double piroutte! I can't seem to stay aligned the whole time. Thanks!

@Balletpedia Does writting that comment make you feel better? I've seen your videos and stretching and being able to do the splits doesn't make you a good dancer, and this girl obviously shows what being a good dancer truely means through her videos.

I've been dancing 7 hours a day this summer and have just been able to do doubles perfectly! I am 13. Your really good, nice spot, good arms, all that. Just keep practicing! I try to do 100 pirouettes a day if I can since I am NOT a natural turner. Does anyone have any tips?? I know these- Spot!! (of course), Hold your Arms, Hold your center, and feel like you are getting taller and taller. :D Keep on Dancin!
Im 13 i dance everyday for 3 hours and i and in the royal acadamy of dance and part of broadway dance center. I am the best at turns in my whole class but im saying that Milana is so good! For all of you saying that you can do it lets see you try it its a lot harder than it looks. I stopped ballet at 13 & i remember how i SUCKED at pirouttes. Her pirouttes might nor be perfect or the best out there but she was very graceful & most of all she has the passion for dance. DANCERS THAT INSULT OTHERS ARE SIMPLY DISGUSTING. I dont even know if you learn dance to be better than others or because you love it.
some people's comments are so big headed and up themselves...to the person who said this isn't impressive at her age..tbh i think it is..some people move faster than others..i'm 18 and i can't do triples very well but i've only been dancing for 2 years! ..the least you could do is be supportive and look at how far she's come in her training :) i'd love to be able to do a triple and not fall over haha!

hey so she's 14... does anyone who leaves a mean comment saying they're better than her know when she actually picked up ballet? and you know, theyre not perfect, but it does say WORKING on her triples not executing them perfectly every single time. everyone starts somewhere and strives to improve. I actually admire the fact that she's practicing on them BEFORE ballet class and not just during. =)

I've noticed you do a winding motion before your pirouettes. If you could just try not to wind to get momentum and work on just shear leg power your pirouettes will be even more amazing. Continue spotting and eventually your pirouettes will be quads and you can begin on fouettes. Keep up the good work.

You are so good. Just a point of advice. remember to spot, i know if i put up a turn vid, i would want constructive critisicm. carry on with dancing, you are Great!
Those are very nice turns. I do have some constructive criticism though.
During your preparation, make sure you have all you weight on the foots that's in front, that way it's easier to pull up, and turn out your feet during too.
Keep going with those corrections and you will be doing 4 in no time. Keep it up!
It's just way too easy to comment on someone else's video saying that when they were five they could do this en pointe. But the important thing here is that she's trying and doing pretty well, isn't it? Good job, Milana! =)

ehh...ok first of, i can do 5 in fourth postion. 5th postion is when it's pretty difficult. second, when you wanna turn right in fourth, your RIGHT foot is supposed to be in front. here, her left foot is in front. so...FAIL

@PureRandomnessFilms So, some general corrections regarding how to do them are:
- plié your standing leg really forcefully and controlled
-straighten the active leg completely when you releve
-control your arms and dont let them flail hahaha
-keep your shoulders pressing down and your back engaged

Nice!! I'm a jumper, not a turner so I'm impressed whenever I see anything more than a double!
Just work on firmly planting your back foot for a cleaner landing, I don't wan't to say lean back really, just put a bit more weight back there.

omg, stop critisising!! for one thing it says 'working on' which obviously means practicing, so she probably hasnt been doing it long, and another thing people who make those comments dont look clever they look like they are tryin to look better by degrading someone who was just having abit of fun!! im pretty sure her teacher can correct her just as well (ifnot better) than alode of people commenting on youtube!!

dont wind up before you turn, spot and keep your passe lifted and your turns will be much cleaner
also people saying she is great- do you know a thing about dance? those turns would be acceptable for a 9 or 10 year old, but at 14 your doubles and triples should be perfect

Those are very nice turns. I do have some constructive criticism though.
During your preparation, make sure you have all you weight on the foots that's in front, that way it's easier to pull up, and turn out your feet during too.
Keep going with those corrections and you will be doing 4 in no time. Keep it up!

ehh...ok first of, i can do 5 in fourth postion. 5th postion is when it's pretty difficult. second, when you wanna turn right in fourth, your RIGHT foot is supposed to be in front. here, her left foot is in front. so...FAIL
