@pratyush997 Actually that's the Tango application. It allows you to do video calls. You can get that currently on any phone from the Windows Phone Marketplace. Yes, even if you don't have a front facing camera. I use the application on my HTC Surround periodically.

This phone is blazing fast. Also, no random application crashing or not responding. Android OS is great too, but it'll need much more development to reach the stability showed by Windows Phone devices.

@mruppel2 It's not really a matter of more development, Android is by design a more open system, and decreased stability and speed is one of the sacrifices made. Microsoft collaborate with manufacturers closely, wheras Google more or less serves up Android free and let the manufacturers do the device-specific work (which they don't do very well IMO).

WP7 is probably best for average Joe, the only real issue being the relative shortage of apps. iOS solves this, but it comes at a crazy price.

@SaltSpork apps will no longer be an excuse for iOS. Windows Phone was just a hidden treasure, after the big support from Nokia, many companies are developing even better versions of their apps, with exclusive features on WP7. Take Skype as an example.

We need a WP8 phone based on Exynos(S5PV310) made here. The Exynos also supports SATA(implemented on the developer kits made here) and as such would be able to use the SSDs made here. And also support AMOLED displays all of which are made here. Until then, people should use old WM phones which at least have some business-related applications still left.Thus, industrial WM nonphone devices are still made by special companies.

I have Lumia 800. I open the browser, there, right away it's open, i close the browser, it's closed, i accidentally open the Marketplace, whoops, back push, it's already closed. NFS Undercover and Angry Birds are super smooth. Some heavy web pages like flightradar24 works faster than with some real life desktop computers.

My thoughts exactly. People are brainwashed by companies to believe that they need super powerful phones to use apps. This way they hide the fact that their OS and everything that is made for the OS is heavy and sloppy and needs all that power to run smoothly. Then the consumers don't know that there are phones that have less horsepower, but are still better because their OS etc. are just better optimized.

I've used Android with dual-core CPU and 1GB ram, but it still lags.
