anyway Socrates was from Athens, Greece.. but he wanna show that all of the people are same so he considers himself as a person of the world.. what a man!!
“To find yourself, think for yourself” To lose self, stop thinking. “The only true wisdom Is in knowing you Know nothing” True wisdom Comes to know The unknowable “Wonder is the Beginning of Wisdom” Wonder is beginning less and wisdom has no end
@commando2224 Theres no such thing, we are all born equal, you have far more mental capacity then you realize. You just dont know how to use it and probably dont know how to unlock it.
.
. The best way in my opinion is to solve problems... you need to train your brain everyday... its exactly like a muscle, if you dont go to the gym dont say, I wish i was stronger.
@commando2224 You can play games that require a great deal of thought, like chess. The goal is to push your self past your limits. You have to tell you brain that you need more power and it will give it to you.
.
.
Other brain games, puzzles or activity: Sudoku, cross word puzzles, learning an instrument, leaning a new language, even reading books that are difficult to understand ( philosophy?).
Fined something thats challenging and that you enjoy. If you dont enjoy it, you wont do it.
@treefrog2108 Not only did he exist but he was also ugly!He left no writings so we can only get some information from the dialogues of Plato (and maybe from some of the Xenophon's writings). Plato for some reason used his teacher's figure to present his own theories-that made things complicated.Long story to cut it short but as a result scholars realised that we cant figure out what the historical Socrates was teaching!
there is no holes in the story of our Christ, but many holes in the stories told by man. See, the world of God is perfect, the language of man has lots of faults. We try and assume we can compare our understanding and comprehension to that of a divine being. Has anything ever created it self? If so, why has it stopped, and took such a turn where creation seems more logic? Why did things stop coming from nothing. You loose all purpose to the "STORY" of Christ....
@sdchargers35 For great philosophy try Robert M. Price, Daniel Dennett, John W. Loftus, Victor J Stenger, Dan Barker, Keith Parsons, Ken Pulliam, Jason Long, Ken Humphreys, Joseph Wheless, Richard Dawkins, C. Dennis Mckinsey
Good ones from this video, although i personally think the Socrates quote I have on my channel is wanna the best. Well maybe its because its my favorite from Socrates.

this ΚΝΟW THYSELF IS CARVED IN THE ORACLE OF DELFI-it was an ancient greek proverb-definitely not a socratic quote!

@cvstiana
Moreover, "I am not an Athenian or a Greek but a citizen of the world" is a quote from Diogenes of Sinope.

@Anaklusmos76 The first four seconds display the title which contains no quotations by Socrates and thus is still valid.
