  • Ill take the Jackal & Hyde remix . . . it needs that harder electro edge to really get the full go bang vocal effect. the female vocal just makes it cheezy?

  • sound factory

  • DAMN I USED TO ROCK THIS SHIT IN MY JVC RADIO THE BIG BOOM BOX WITH 4 BIG SPEAKERS IN THE 80S.....

  • Damn we did it up something crazy in NYC!! The party never stopped. Shout to all my Bronx cats that went down to Studio 54, Roseland etc. and put the place on smash. New school cats don't have a movement like that to be a part of thats why music is so wack now.

  • Love this song.

    Zain what's up mofo!

  • I absolutely LOVE Todd Terry's music!! I still rock the old stuff like it just came out

  • Man that piano breakdown is the bomb. Brings me back to the days of the tunnel and the sound factory

  • This is one of Todd Terry's sickest projects...

one of my all time favorites. Side A is also as fucking sick...thanks

  • This got the hottest beats ever. This is something to party off of. I love the whole thing. Really, Thanks for the post :D !!!

  • the hot 97 all night house party live from the tunnel, this is the greatest house track ever made!!! todd terry & roman ricardo

  • @lamourrocks Oh hell yeah. Staying up at night from 2am to 4am. I had to go to the tunnel to experience it live!

  • @lamourrocks you remember Emerald City w/DJ Glen Fisher??? Classic parties!!

  • I love this tune and it's the first time I've heard it. Now, it's my favorite. Sounds groovy. Do u have more of underground house and classic house?

  • Look up anything from todd terry or royal house back from 1988 to about 1995. all of that shit is slammin. also frankie bones, and underground solution. I wanna go bang was just one of too too many NYC classic house songs

  • Thanks so much. I'm actually looking also for the track called "A Lollipop For You" by Dick and other that sounds like Reel 2 Real that says "moving your body moving....' with a kind of aggressive voice tone. I know about David Morales. I like his tracks Party in the ghetto and The Program.

  • DJ Roman Ricardo at the Tunnel. NYC at its peak in 1989/1990.

  • Baby Jay or Little Louie Vega at the Roseland, Mojo Nicosia or DJ Animal at the Palladium, David Morales at The Red Zone, Junior Vasquez at The World, Charley Casanova at The Limelight, Frankie Bones at Metro House... and of course, Roman Ricardo at The Tunnel.

1989/1990 NYC- House Music All Night Long! there'll be nothing like it again.

  • Koolzainski, seeing those names and spots bring a tear to my eye. Those were the days! and it sounds like you there too. I seen Baby Jay at Roseland ( still have the hot 97 cassettes)but i didn't realize little louie vega played there too. Spent many saturday nights at palladium listening to Mojo. I remember Animal at 4d and the Underground back in 1987. But two names and spots you forgot to mention Kool...Glen Friscia at Emerald City and Franco Iemello at Chicago's in lodi, NJ

  • All I know is that I need to hear more Underground music from Chicago. The old school tunes. Nowadays, I mean. Benny Bennasi isn't really my type. I would rather go for guys like DJ Trajic, DJ Funk, 740 Boyz, The Outhere Brothers, Reel 2 Real, Boody Headz, Rocking Duke, 20 Fingers, Crystal Waters, David Morales, etc. That's my kind.

  • Almost half of Glen Friscia's mixes put me to sleep yet the other half were amazing... Franco Iamello had more than superb mixing skills, but he was way too "safe" with his playlist...

Whereas Roman Ricardo, Junior Vasquez, Frankie Bones, Baby J spun a lot more underground joints in between the sparse commercial tracks, making it seem more exclusive!

  • you're right about glen friscia. he was jekyell and hyde. one week awesome, next week boring as heck. as for franco, he let loose after 2am.

  • In 1988 it was Louie Vega at Studio 54 on Saturdays, Freddie Bastone on Fridays & Animal did the Underground!
