I was in spain, and I looked over the road, and saw people doing this trick on a piece of board. I stayed away out of sight, but it just goes to show. This trick is a well known con trick. people are sill getting involved with this trick, and getting conned. People never learn. Even if you do win they will get their money back one way of another. Even if it means mugging you, and taking all your money as well as the money you think you have been clever winning if they let you.

To all of those who are saying: "Now we can hustle the hustlers!" No. You can't. Hustlers will do anything to take your money. They'll have someone out bid you on the wrong card and claim that they only take the higher bet. They can drop a card and ask you pick it up and when you pick it up they can do some sleight of hand and change around the cards. Whatever you do, the hustlers always win. Three card monte is just a way of mugging someone without telling them they're being mugged.
