The game makers should have given an explanation: how can the Shredder create clones? And why do they use 2003 model? At the end of the movie there was Shredder's helmet from the first movie.

Well, technically the whole game is a flashback, since it's told as if the Turtles are looking back at a past experience... but yeah, this boss fight is a flashback within that flashback. :)

u know it kinda makes ya think...when ppl say most movies games suck..(not saying this one sucks..espeically since i only played the demo) but it's like. which form of movies games suck? the ones that are directly based off the same story as the movie? or the ones that are based off the movies universe?(like a prequel or sequel to the movie)

I think folks mean movie-based games suck in general, whether they follow the story or not! I'm not sure why that is -- I suspect in a lot of cases it's because the production and releases of the games are rushed in order to coincide with theatrical releases -- but games based on movies are indeed often quite terrible.

I actually kinda like this one, and it's certainly not bad for what it is, but there are definitely improvements that could have been made.

the fight against shredder never appeared in the movie but this fight in the game is the final part of level 11 (which is more like an extra level).

I know i have seen the movie before i was wondering WHY they where fighting in central america (the place where Splinter sent Leo) and how Shredder got these clones. P.S. i know in what level this "boss" appears

Esplinter hinted at Leonardo and Raphael for both were found on a large sign of the zoo, there Splinter placed the shredder layer for Leo and Raph to forget their differences and remember that the only way to defeat the generals were working together well as they did to defeat Shredder and they start to remember that fight.

And for why they fight at the jungle is only a representation not that they fought there!!

that was exsactily what I tried to say a FLASHBACK. The bad thing is that the devs use the same combat style from a general foot ninja (the one who calls more foot ninjas) instead to give us something different to have fun in the fighting,and make of that battle special even more if we talk about the Shredder the greatest enemy of the turtles.Cause the final battle with the general is a bit boring and easy cause the only you need to do is to use brothers attacks!

Even Prince of Persia(warrior within) has better combat system. And turtles are ninjas so they have to have just awsome combats, and they could have, coz developers(Ubisoft) create all Prince of Persia games(with awsome combats) and could easiely add this combat to one more game. But for some reason they diceded to give turtles great acrobatics and repeatative and(sometimes) annoying fights. And one more bad thing - game haven`t multiplayer, even the first ever turtles game had multiplayer(4ppl)

Yeah, the fighting is a little repetitive. They should've added more combos for attacking, and they should've included throwing your opponent. It would've added more depth and I wouldn't have gotten bored of it by the 6th level.

I'm not sure what you mean -- he's in this level! :) But this is a "flashback" battle, so that explains why he's not elsewhere in the game.

I also have this game PC version .... I love it but the only thing is that i can't run it in full screen mode i guess maybe it's just me !!! but it would have been so much greater if i cold play it in full screen ..the black background really kills a lot of fun !!!

i have this game and its awesome but for this it was easy 4 me. first get rid of the real shredder, do the family attacks a lot, and than defeat the clones, thats what i did :)

for me,it was much easier.I beat him in a couple of seconds!Here's how:

1.First use Don's move to shock the clones and Shredder

2.Then,use Raph's move to get rid of shredder(and probably a clone too)faster

3.Defeat the clones.

I guarantee it will b much easier.

i have this game for me to beat this level, i got close to the real shredder, fought him, then get rid of the clones. its a faster way. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!

This is the extended battle, so the whole point of this one was to drag the fight out as long as possible (well, until I got tired of it). I have a much faster video on here as well -- look for the version without the word "extended" tacked onto it. :)

Thanks! I'm not really *that* good, though -- it's just easy to put on an entertaining show when you've got a regenerating trio of Shredder clones to thrash. The game also looks good enough that even taking damage (from the spears and kicks, anyway; the shuriken admittedly put a stop to the action) adds to the visual splendor. :)

The game came out on a bunch of systems -- PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, Wii, and PC -- but this is the PC version. It's kind of easy (not a bad thing IMHO) and there's not a lot of replay value, but if you can find it for $25 or less it is an enjoyable little romp. :)
