When you go to Peach's castle, you have to have 10 stars. Then you have to stand on the sun. Once you have a light shining on you, you have to look all the way up.

@SmallvilleFann1983 At one point when you have like 14 stars or something you see that sun tile in the main room of the castle with a sun ray on it. Step in the middle of it. Hold down R, X and the up arrow key for a few seconds till the scene changes then it tells you the this is the place with the ? block on it and yu gotta fly to the ? button and like jump on it. then it makes all the ? blocks useable . At least that's how I did it.

in the middle of the room you walk into can you see a glare of sunlight if so press c up look in the air it will take you flying then collect all the red coins then you'll unlock the red cap hope this helps
