It's not the muslims that invaded philippine territory, it's the Philippines that invaded mindanaoan territory. That land has the 2nd largest gold resources world wide and lot's of oil and copper as well. All of these resources, however, belong to the USA. The USA saw to it, that people, mostly from the Visayas were to migrate to Mindanao, thus pushing natives back
